I hate to answer a question with a queston, but when did I ever say you specifically called a 70 win season? In my original post, I used the term "talking heads." In the followup, I said "70+ win prognosticators." Fuck's sake, man. You should be more worried about the fact that last night didn't show a lot of positives for the Miami Poorly Constructed Fantasy Team with No Bench than the fact that one Mavericks fan is looking forward to the idiots at ESPN being exposed as hyperbolic assholes.

I don't want to hit the panic button just yet with Miami, but I would be very concerned about Wade. His performance last night was about far more than rust - he looked completely lost. And, as Headache suggested, he did not seem to understand how to move without the ball. A lot of "pundits" were questioning to whom the team would "belong" by the end of the season, but it looks to me as though LeBron has taken over after only one game.

How am I not supposed to assume you're talking to me when you quote me, respond to my 'backpedaling' quote if you will (because lets be honest, what I wrote right there is justifying a loss more than anything else).

And again for the sake of argument, I'm not backpedaling on my stance. I stand by what I said about the Heat having a chance to be a dynasty. I would be backpedaling if I was someone who thought the Heat were going to win 70 games... but I do believe that's a very justifiable loss at the same time.
