Las Vegas End of Presale/General Sale Discussion Thread

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

No, I guess I quoted the wrong part of his post.

She told me that there are probably no GA's left for the general sale because the casinos got their piece.

Or...they simply sold out in the presale, like most other shows.

For those partcipating in the general sale (or those that are curious), here's the final update of the seating plan (I may have said that before). Everyone that requested it has been added, I think

A few things to consider:

  • Approximate row numbers are,

  • [*]Lower Level - Row 1 to 22
    [*]Upper Level - Row 23 to 44
    [*]Level 300 - Row 45-49

  • [*]A few exceptions are,
[*]Section 200 in the Northern end zone appear to begin with row 1 (as we have row 1 seats in sections 201 & 236). This is not the case for section 200's in the Southern end zone, where the bottom row appears to be around 23.

  • If there's no dot in a section, the price is just an assumption. For Upper sections in 108 & 127, these seats may be $95, not $250.

  • The $30 price zone in the far end zone appears to be VERY, VERY GENEROUS!

  • [*]I would have expected something similar to the Rose Bowl, with sections 219-220 being $30 seats. Possibly also sections 217-218 & 221-222, as these were $55 seats at the Rose Bowl. But I wouldn't have expected 215 all the way round to 224 to be only $30.

[*]They're either being very generous, or there's a mistake with the dot in 215 (which is quite likely). This pesky dot is really annoying me! I have it marked as Upper End Zone, section 215, row 25, seat 9-10, $30. If this is true, then there's a lot of $30 seats.

God bless the pre-sale. Section 110, Row 12 - two seats. Section 110, Row 19 - two more seats. :applaud:

Good luck tomorrow everyone...seriously.

If I could have my seat added... section 134..row 2 seat 1, 95. I see one other person there.. that is cool.
I wonder if it's as far back as it appears, or if it's more like the ticketmaster seating maps???

thanks!

ETA: Wait... did you put a dot for my seat already?

Just to let you know, my seats in section 322 are in row 44.

Thanks again for your work!

ticketmaster is running the auction (which is currently at $205...ouch)

about 45 minutes until the start of the general sale. when it's all over i have a feeling it's going to look like the end of the battle at the opening sequence of Gladiator....bodies everywhere.

Kinda figured so, but was HOPING not -- UNLV Tickets is gonna meltdown.

My two cents for all -- stay with it. During the Boots presale I thought I was DOA several times but stayed with it for longer than normal, and lo and behold tickets came to life.

Good luck all.

I can only imagine the unlv ticket site isn't going to know what hit it when the general sale starts. Hopefully not, but they could barely handle the Boots group.

Well, they did promise $30 dollar tickets at every show. I did notice though that there are NO $55 dollar tickets in the stands. The only $55 dollar tickets for Vegas are general admission. The $250 section seems very large and goes all the way to the very top of the stadium. I think this is the first time anyone has ever had a seat at the top of a stadium for $250.

In all my searching(and lost my code at the end of it)I did find some 55 dollar seats.. I was totally surprised. You change your search parameters to include reserved seating, and I did find some... I just couldn't tell you where they are/were.... too many things running through the brain now!
And for 250? I better NOT be in the upper, uppers!

So do you think you can't even access the site, or are you near the front of the line. I'm confused.
