Nothing to see here folks, just waaalllk on by. Just helping the working class whites, I know their pain. Just have to drain this swamp first.

Republicans also proposed a law to reduce LEGAL immigration yesterday.

Make it white again!!!

When was it ever all white though? I'm so curious why Trumpeezy and Trumpeters refer to the making the US great 'again.' Which exact great time period are they referring to?

Don't hold your breath for that answer, we'll have better luck getting one day without "fake news" coming out of Trump's mouth before we get an honest reply to that.

So any wagers on how long Kellyanne lasts? She got skewered last night on lying about the highest murder rate and Trump claiming no one covers terrorist attacks, and she looked so uncomfortable in her own skin. Will she be able to maintain being the propaganda puppet?

I was thinking about this last night. She's made a fool of herself plenty of times, and gets roasted by the journos while being interviewed and by news channels each time. I have a feeling she'll either be dismissed, or resign by the fall.

If the rest of Trump's staff feel she's not doing a good job, she'll be fired and as for reasons being her own personal dignity and being humiliated each time, I think she'll resign, but I don't hold my hopes too high as she's proven to be devoid of any dignity thus far.

But should they speak out? Not that they haven't, plenty of Muslims have come out and condemned every single attack, en masse. But to expect them to speak out each time, seems as though you think they're all responsible in some way and have to dissociate themselves from the idiots in their religion. But to expect 'more' to speak out, even then - will that help? Will it solve the problem? And how many 'more' will be enough?

As for the discussions - yes, of course that would be awesome if they worked. But if some people are convinced of their views on it, no amount of discussion would help. But we can at least try.

Its one persons opinion but I think you have some that are afraid and some that quietly are actually happy the extremists are doing what they are doing.

I am sure B the numbers are not huge but they are there.

Someone else brought up the fact that most victims of Muslim Extremist Violence are other Muslims. I brought this up before but we can be our own worst enemy when it comes to foreign policy. Saddam was a monster but by taking him out tipped the balance in the region and now Iran is the power broker in the region and has a lot more influence then they did.

There very much is a tribalism aspect in the middle east that folks in the west forget about.

Its a very broad statement. There are a lot of aspects of our country which have always been great but when it comes to things like defense well that is another thing entirely.

The Defense sequester has gutted our military big time. There was a report that came out in the last few days that the FA18 Hornets flown by the US Navy most of the fleet is grounded.

As far as your direct question its more of an aspect of America that he is talking about. There have been times where we were stronger economically. He may not be referencing that kind of thing but..

Individual rights include long lunch breaks.

Such specifics; when we were flying more hornets and were "stronger economically". At least you all know why you destroyed this country:up:

Oh I know you want to feel like this is true, it's a neat Republican catchphrase, but I can't think of any individual rights that Trump spoke about that Clinton was against

We live in a country where over the last eight years more Govt interference has been the norm. Its more of a Libertarian view than a Republican but we want less Govt interference. You can't deregulate everything like Trump wants but you can overhaul each agency and have both Republicans and Democrats involved to fix the issues.....Yeah its a pipe dream but its still a dream worth pursuing.

Colorado for example their Healthcare exchange is failing due to horrible mismanagement. The voters out of the Denver/Boulder area etc put single payer on the ballot and it failed miserably because most CO residents knew single payer was and is a horrible idea....More govt control.

Trump ran on the premise of getting the establishment out of DC. That appealed to a lot of us who feel like the Govt is creeping into every aspect of our lives. That said so far I am not seeing it but we will see.

BVS why do you insist on attacking me? Seriously.

I am all about debate but you come across as very smarmy at moments.

I know we all get passionate in debates and I apologized for my moment of anger but it does seem like you like to keep poking the proverbial bear.....Any reason for that?

Ill respond to your individual comment here in a second.

Cutting down publicly funded elections.... Yaaaaay.

Fuck everyone in Congress right now, seriously. Damn. Opposite direction of where we need to be.

Gutting the military does not make the country stronger. Part of having a strong country is having a strong military. When we had a strong military we were stronger economically...Take a look at how much production occurred during the Cold War....You may not like it but there was a lot of truth to that.

Look at our energy policy during the Obama years. The war on Coal & Oil & Natural gas. Shutting down oil production on my side of the state put a lot of people out of work. Same thing with shutting down the mines. How is that a boost for the economy? Energy policy should focus on a all around approach. Obama wanted to put all our eggs in one basket in regards to clean energy and you can't do that. Pursue towards getting us off fossil fuels but don't shut of the tap early.

There are a lot of jobs waiting to be had as far as rebuilding America (Roads, bridges, etc etc) We need to put money into that.

I saw a report within the last day that 5000 public jobs were created but 10.000 Govt jobs were eliminated.....Not sure what to think about that.

It's not an attack, I'm not calling you "fake" or saying "look at him" while I mock your disability, I'll leave attacks to your president.

I'm trying to get you to defend your vote and your posts lack any real specifics or answers. And when they do they're often factually incorrect.

See the post above as an example; you answered with this generality of the last 8 years government intrusion, and then give an example of a state issue that has nothing to do with Trump?!

I wanted specifics, because honestly the only real reasons I've seen from you so far, are guns and not Clinton.

That was the problem for a lot of us this election. It's either Clinton or not Clinton. Trump said as far as things like Abortion it should be left up to the states....I agree with that. On Marijuana he has said the same things. That to me are a few examples of smaller govt.

Trump did campaign on stronger states rights here and there while Clinton was more about stronger Govt. That goes against what I believe.

I'm really upset that Melania won't be able to sell tacky, ugly shit on QVC or The Shopping Channel right out of the Lincoln Bedroom.

Because her (otherwise stellar) reputation has been besmirched by an English rag that most Americans have never heard of.

In every dictionary, there should be a photo of the Trumps next to the definition of nouveau riche.

ETA: I thought the debate between Sanders/Cruz was just fine, what I saw of it anyway. Don't think that Bernie came across as uninformed. Oh and Ted Cruz, if you want to ignorantly talk about the Canadian system (for God's sake, Americans, our government doesn't get to make medical decisions on our behalf), at a minimum stop referring to Canadian "governors".

The issue now more and more are people who are born here who are converted to radicalism.
That does seem to be one aspect that in this debate about migrants people have forgotten about.

How many people are born in the US who are white, Christian killers? Let's say all the ones shooting up kids in schools? How many are born and take up gang life? How many white, domestic terrorists are there?

Because I'm gonna hazard a guess these have all by far incurred more death/grief on your country than Islamic American-born radicals.

Seems to be an aspect of the debate people have forgotten about...

Extremism stretches across all religions. No doubt about that.

The point I was trying to make was the last couple of attacks were because of people who were born and grew up here being turned into radicals. Its not always someone from a foreign land sometimes its the guy that grew up living next to you.

One I couldn't understand was the Boston Marathon bombers. They are Chechen and the issue with Chechnya directly dealt with Russia....Why did they attack the US? That one as simple of a question it is always confused me.

This Sessions hearing is insane. Their argument is that discussing Sessions' history (via the letter of Coretta Scott King) constitutes an attack on a sitting senator, and therefore cannot be brought forward in his vetting. Isn't that self-evidently a reason he is unqualified for the position?

What is it that you think is radicalizing people?

Religion & Foreign policy of various western nations. Often they go hand in hand.

If you look at Osama Bin Laden's views we became his enemy the second we took up the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia's request to station troops there. Something about Infidels on Muslim Lands or something like that....

I would argue that bombing the shit out of other countries constantly for decades has had way more impact than a religious text.

You can find common ground as far as letting immigrants in while vetting the extremists out.

sooooooo you mean exactly what we were doing before this asinine executive order was signed?

there appears to be only one side who's lost that point... and here's a hint, his name rhymes with Ronald Dump.
