It's Gone, ladies and gentlemen, and it's awesome.

I listen to it countless times a day.

I can't get the music out of my head. The shrieking siren guitar notes stay in my ears long after the song has finished playing.

The lyrics haunt me.

I've always enjoyed the song, but only recently have I come to realize how truly amazing it is.

Gone is not only one of U2's best songs of the 90s, but one of their best songs of all time.

I decided that this song cannot be contained within a Pop appreciation thread, or a 90s appreciation thread. This song needs a thread all its own. So please, use this thread to discuss and appreciate the magnificence of Gone.
