Has Morleigh been choreographer in the past? Or does it mean she will dance again on MW?

She's there to teach Bono this . . .

... but someone I know on Facebook is saying they're number #42 when someone else posted the same picture. I so hope she's trolling me.

Surely this is a gag. Surely. A GA sign was put in front of some poor homeless people or something! I refuse to believe anybody is so nutty as to queue for nine days.
They may have started smelling like a poor homeless person after 9 days under that bridge. Good to hear nobody's quite crazy enough to line up for that long.

It wouldn't be official either - I'd love to see someone just walk up and sit in front of them. Arena wouldn't endorse queues this for out, so there would be nothing they could do

 Hey there, my fellow interference brothers and sisters!

I seem to have an extra GA ticket for the opening show in Vancouver (on Thursday night), but no ticket yet for Friday!

So, is there someone who can trade a Friday GA for my extra Thursday GA?

(I know we'll have to meet at the entry each night, to go in together with the credit card thing.)

Anyone? :eyebrow:

Hey Brad,

So your post doesn't get buried here, you may want to start a thread in the What do you want? Sub forum.

Well, that would presumably be the single lightbulb the NYT mentioned would provide illumination at the start of the show.

Nope it's actually cool. After reading what was said in the NY Times article about them starting the show with a single lightbulb this is a cool teaser for fans "in the know"

You're right, I have totally forgot that part of the article. As you said, it's cool.

For fucks sake some if you are just haters... There's no reason why someone can't take a week and a half off from work with 6 months notice in order to get a good spot.

Besides this guy's saving me my spot so lay off.

Just tried my boss told me to piss off

I'm proud to say I once quit a job so that I could go to a U2 concert. I worked 2nd shift in a factory, I was 19, and the Elevation tour was coming my way. I had tickets to Columbus and Indianapolis. I went to ask for the Columbus show off first, thinking I'd figure the Indy show out later. My supervisor said "you've been here for only 2 months and you're asking for TIME OFF???!!! I DON'T THINK SO!!!" So I tried to get the guy who worked 1st shift to trade me spots for the concerts. He said "NO", because he had to be home from work by the time his kids got off the school bus, which I can totally understand now that I'm a father and a real adult, but back then I thought "LAME"!!!

So I did the only thing a hardcore U2 fan in my position would do. I QUIT! But I was only 19 and had nothing to lose. I quit, I went to those 2 shows and savored every second, and then I reassessed my options and went to college the next year, and put myself on the path to where I am today.

The lesson here is this; quit your job for U2 concerts!

Don't try this at home kids.

I've often wondered what I would do in a similar situation, especially when I was a tad younger. I usually get lucky in that many of the shows I'm interested in attending fall on weekends instead of weekdays. But if it came down to not being able to get time off or whatever, I'd probably try to find a Saturday show that worked and fly out to that one.
