Ok its easily to see this is MORE of an ALBUM from start to finish than last 2 efforts...so far I feel I am being transported to some place I haven't been...which is all I ask of U2.

Stand Up Comedy is the All Because of You of this album. All out rocker with self deprecating lyrics. Only it doesn't suck. I like it but it sounds like it could get old pretty fast. At least it's not embarrassing.
Definetly the weakest track for me so far. Seven songs in. Sweet.

God damn, they are really showing musicianship and songwriting here, I'm blown away by all the layers and parts. I might be jumping the gun, but this is the best U2 album.

The only negative would be the bad falsettos, but they have such character!

I did not notice the passers by and they did not notice me... one of the best U2 lyrics EVER!

Stand Up Comedy sounds totally like Jimmy Paige guitaring style but thats not a bad thing it will rock live for sure!

While it's too early to tell how great these songs are, I have yet to hear any of the awkward moments in HTDAAB that really always dragged me out of the songs. Cautiously optimistic.

i just finished class and got home. sat down at my computer. logged on here. now there is semen EVERYWHERE.

NLOTH
Magnificent is kicking in now... spoofing round 2.

aaahhh! stuck at work for another 45 minutes before I can hear it. My productivity just hit a brick wall! But your reviews are making me think its worth the wait!

I don't know if it's a "Best U2 Album" contender for me but it sounds like an album, not a collection of songs. It sounds great on earphones.
It transports me in a way HTDAAB and even Pop and ATYCLB didn't.
I like that it's not too linear. That some of the lyrics sound spacy and disjointed and others are very organic.
It sounds like u2 in the very best way.
It's All That You Can't Leave Behind with better songs and better production. and I like ATYCLB.

Waaayyyy too soon to rank it in the U2 cannon. I haven't heard the last
three songs yet.

this is the album i have been waiting for. thank you u2. AND thank all you guys and gals here, for the laughs on the crazy ass threads that brought us here to the leak. and for sharing the leak. i can die now. but not until i've heard this masterpiece a few more thousand times.

This no collection of songs.

There is a ton of Edge on this album. Makes me happy in the pants.

I think Edge just took the last couple albums off and they brought an imposter into the studio. It appears he's back to work.

Crazy Tonight is every cliche and guilty pleasure you've loved about U2 wrapped up into one song. And it still sounds great.

So far its awesome...not real crazy about Unknown Caller first listen...I'm sure it will grow on me...I'm on I'll Go Crazy if I Don't Go Crazy Tonight...lovin' it!!

The Beach clip Breathe coda comes in at 3:20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm scared to listen... or excited... first time is important!
