Speaking of which, Ashley, should I go see Wild Nothing live in a few weeks? Not a huge fan of the latest album, but I love the previous two...
I'm late and catching up on this thread, but I had to reply to this because I'm shocked anyone here knows this song. One of my favorite GNR songs, and never thought it would be played again live. I actually stayed up watching the show on Periscope and when I heard the opening notes I actually jumped up off the couch and yelled Holy Shit they're playing Coma! The fact that they nailed it brought a tear to my eye.
He gets better live each time I see him. He's nothing astounding, but at least he doesn't seem to have stage fright any more, which he admitted to having the first time I saw him. He's actually begun to interact with the crowd, and what not, and he plays a pretty decent set. If you like his music, you'll enjoy him live. It translates well, and it sounds great.
Wait, so Axl Rose really is going to be the new AC/DC singer?
Hahahahahahaha.
Things Ashley likes: Scotch, 80s music, Wild Nothing, Hair Metal, 60s Hippie Folk
Travis has a GREAT video link about how big Mr. Big is in Japan somewhere.
Hewson, I think you might've just decided for me how I'm going to spend my evening.
My favorite GnR tune.

Saw 3 UYI tour shows but never got Coma, the inclusion of it in Vegas ramped my interest in going to the Foxboro show from so-so to pretty high.
Also, Imps brought this to my attention Coachella Promoters Planning Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Rolling Stones Mega-Concert | Pitchfork
the news itself sounds fucking amazing. whoever making fun of news with headlines like "super-dad rock concert planned by Coachella promoter" are just plain stupid: McCartney, Dylan, The Stones, more coming together for the ultimate dad concert · Newswire · The A.V. Club
Sitting through Zedd now.
