Why not? I'm sure you'd love to "discuss" Shostakovich's fifth symphony. :(

EDIT: :der: I think I read that incorrectly.

Oh, good. I love "discussing" music.

 I'd definitely go for a "discussion"! So much to "discuss".

Axver, the Sept 15-18 1992 shows were in the city of Tinley Park, a city outside of Chicago and the October 16, 1992 show was in Irving instead of Dallas.
Honestly, I prefer just saying Detroit, Dallas, Chicago, etc for all these shows. It can get kind of confusing when you see the name of some small town that you've never heard of before.

honestly, i can't name one. i just remember always enjoying the hell out of the pieces of his we played when i was in high school band. i'd know them if i heard them. and didn't he do strange things with time signature? i loved that.

Yeah, plenty of strange things. I love how Shosty flipped off the Soviet regime with symphony no. 4. His symphony for strings is just beautiful music as well.

Al Green was in The Righteous Brothers right?

"You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss...your lips..."

o, and you can't forget my man Jackie Wilson

"You're love! is lifting me higher! than I've ever been lifted before!"

No, the Righteous Brothers are a white singing duo.

That's great that you can do a PhD.--most creative writing folks I know went the MFA route.

I applied to 6 MFA programs and one MA and got into the MA. I decided to get a PhD instead of an MFA after that because it will give me a better shot at getting a job, I think, because it's giving me a stronger background in literature.

My cat is running around purring. He must still be enjoying Kanye

Well, if we're talking about classical music, let me just say this arrived in the mail a few days ago and it just blows my mind!

Berliner Philharmoniker, during WWII, the performance is amazingly heavy and apocolyptic.

"Furtwängler would object and insist that they say 'Guten Morgen' instead. At the inaugural concert as newly appointed chief conductor of the Vienna Philharmonic, he even refused to start the concert until the Nationalist Socialist flag had been taken down: 'take that rag down' he insisted. All of this infuriated the authorities and eventually he fled into Switzerland when he heard that they were out to assasinate him."

I know what those are but I don't know how to apply them to that problem

you need to find cos(a) and Cos(b) and then sin(a) and sin (b). Then you can plug those values into the identities. Use the unit circle.

My daughter is interested in creative writing programs. Maybe sometime I could PM you for suggestions for schools she could look at?

I still don't know where this idea came from to have him open for U2:confused:

Bono/Kanye:

-cocky and egotistical sometimes
-strong convictions
-political views
-musical talent
-lyrical ability
-great showmen

I don't really know how the actual music fits together. But those two seem like they have alot in common.

SYMPHONY NO. 9

I've never listened to that particular recording, maybe I'll add it to my Christmas list.
Have you visited this website before? http://www.classiccat.net/ Wonderful free resource of classical recordings, I've found many gems on there and it's a good way to sample different composers before you go out and buy
