It seems like almost everyone that was part of PLEBA when I joined has left, and now with Zootopia down, there's so many new faces, I mean avatars, that I know nothing about. Sifting through profiles takes forever, so let's all share a bit about ourselves to our fellow PLEBAns, things like age, location, school, job, hobbies, relationship, pets, family, favorites, and post ONE pic of yourself if you want (PLEASE only one for the sake of those on dial-up)....I'll start:

Name: Lies Alaine Rosema
Age: 19
Nationality: Caucasian, 100% Dutch
Language: English, with a good amount of German and Dutch (thanks Grandma!)
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born and raised in the rough ol' ghetto, but now my family lives in my grandma's old house in a nicer area. I live at school in the dorms, at Phil's, or in a tent camping. Ellen and I and some friends found a sweet deal on rent and will be moving into a nearby duplex in June.
School: Calvin College, full time student 2nd year, business major, third world development minor
Job: Computer support technician, both phone work and on-sight. Basically, I install/repair computers/printers/software/hardware/networking all over campus or answer questions on the phone. I work full time 40+ hrs when not in school and 15 or so hrs when in school.
Transportation: Incase some of you have nice rides....I hoever, have never had a car (can't afford insurance) but I like to walk for miles to the mall or to the bank, and I have a sufficient bike that I rode 20 miles a day when I had time.
Relationship: boyfriend, almost 1 yr
Family: mom, dad, younger bro (17) and sis (14)
Pets: 2 newts, 3 guinea pigs

Most embarrassing moment: One night when I was waitressing, it was a slow night, only about 3 tables in the restaurant filled (2 with kids). Somebody put Alanis Morrisette's "You Oughtta Know" on the jukebox - an unedited version that says the f-word halfway through the song. Prude that I am, I decided the little children should not hear this word so I stood by the volume button and I was going to turn the volume all the way down when she said the f-word. Alas, in my anticipation, I turned the knob the wrong way and blasted "F*** her" through the restaurant...

Age: 19 (LivLuv, I had no idea you were the same age as me-neat!).
Nationality: Caucasian-I'm 75% German, 20% French, and 5% Irish. .
Language: English. I can speak some Spanish-but I'm not overly fluent in it.
Location: Southeastern Nebraska. I'm staying at home, 'cause due to my family moving last summer, I decided to take a year off upon graduation, wait and see where exactly we moved ('cause at the time I didn't know for sure-it all depended on what place accepted my dad), and once we moved here, I'd look around for a job, and in that time, get an idea of what colleges nearby I'd like to go to.
School: No school right now.
Job: None at the moment-there's one at where my dad works that I'm hoping to get, and then there's also the local movie theater that I want to look into, and perhaps the library as well.
Transportation: I don't have a car of my own, 'cause I don't have a license (long story, again, it deals with us moving a few years back and financial things as well). I just walk everywhere I go, or get a ride from parents.
Relationship: Single.
Family: Mom, Dad, and one younger sister who's 15.
Pets: No pets.
Hobbies: Reading, writing stories and poems, drawing.
Random Experience: Hmmm...probably one of the most memorable ones for me was my family's attempt at moving out to Vermont last summer. First time our family's car ever caught on fire, first time totally stranded in a state miles from my home state, closest I ever came to living out in the northeastern U.S. Either that, or my trip to New York City in 10th grade.

Family: My family is a mish-mash: biological mother I don't speak to, the one I call mom is my step-mom, but I love her dearly and love her as much as a daughter could (even if she can be a snot), I have two half-brothers on my biological mother's side whom I don't speak to, a dad who's married for the fourth time, and a half-brother on my dad's side from a relationship he had between marriages. I'm closest to my mom, my half-brother James (my dad's son), and my aunt and uncle - my dad's brother.

Well, she was friends with my younger sister and my cousin..I didn't know her well, other than to say hello when she came to my cousin's house after school. They were 2-3 years younger than me so I really didn't want to hang out with them!

Like I said in my other post, she had brown hair back then and was considered somewhat of a nerd...she was in student government and on the swim team. She was really cute but I never would have imagined how she would look today!
