Miracle Drug is great, but it leading into speech then Streets is a disappointing lead-in for sure

Bono does speeches... it's his thing and has been. I don't mind them because he speaks from his heart.

Fair enough and what you say is true. HOWEVER if there is one song in their entire catelogue that he should not be speeching prior to it's Where the Streets Have No Name. It really does ruin the magic of that song.

i gotta say, i'm not too keen on ISHFWILF as a closer, but it was awesome to watch the Edge keep playing the notes as he left the arena

One and ISHFWILF are really unsatisfying closers. Great idea to rotate them in the encore, but there should be something after. I'm hoping we'll get a big shock in a couple of minutes.

I think they threw it under the bus on night 2 in Vancouver. It's spot in the set was awful. It was ina spot tailor made for Volcano. California would be a nice way to open the encore. Not suck between Vertigo and I Will Follow.

the sad part is, the encore works because COBL/Streets/One/Still Haven't Found get a big audience reception, so the band thinks it's a satisfying way to go out

Nope. Just an unsatisfying closer all around. I found myself wondering if there was more because it seemed a weird way for them to end it.
