I look at it as I have been to a lot more places already than most people will ever go too
I also subscribe to Journeywoman and I follow her on twitter.
But what do we gain by knowing that the suns are shining when it's obstructed by clouds and rain? Still shitty weather imo.
A broader perspective. Rain and clouds is not "shitty", only if you wish to see it in such narrow light. But without the rain, how do we get the flowers? The trees? The lakes and rivers?
Your "shitty weather" is opportunity.

Where do you live?
When you live in Ireland, UK or Holland, such weather is shitty. Because it's like that about 300+ days a year. Ofcourse rain is necessary for the plants and it's the reason it's so green here, but still, too much is no fun and rain ruins a lot of plans.
May be opportunity, but it doesn't make it less shitty.
It rained here so much that when the sun finally came out on Friday it gave me and a bunch of my co-workers migranes. Weird
Went to TicketMaster (Ireland) and for the heck of it asked for 1 GA ticket and...BINGO! I just bought it (I am in the USA). Come on people! If you are looking for Dublin #3 tickets, GO NOW! I just gone one GA easily!
I wonder why? I thought this show was sold out.
