Dropping NLOTH seems to be a big mistake, it's the best live song, besides the Crazy Remix, from the current album. I hope they bring it back. I'm also surprised they didn't play Pride in Washington, but it really seems gone for good. Looks like a solid set, but new songs shouldn't be dropped, IMO. Great everyone going had a good time.

Screen Trouble in DC

Please dont cancel Raleigh. That happened in PopMart.....
Wonder why Capitol always destroys the screen. To many politicians in the house.......

What exactly was the problem?

And why would they cancel with a screen issue? It happened in Goteborg with the wind, happened in Dublin as well, concerts went on anyway.

Very good show last night. I was disappointed with the crowd during UF. I loved it but the younger crowd didn't know the song. And, I was so hoping to hear UC and NOLTH live. Please bring them back for Charlottesville or Raleigh. I did see them do a set list change during the show. Tech ripped up the old one near Bono's mic and taped down a new one very quickly, so I assume it was a set list change.

I was a bit annoyed with the folks around me. People showing up late (really, the 4th song...), folks sitting down and reading their emails, and lots of kids with their fingers in their ears (they were selling earplugs...). Who pays $250 for a ticket and doesn't pay attention to the show? One woman had four kids with her all under the age of ten and they looked miserable with their fingers in their ears the entire show. If you pay $1250 for tickets, you can afford $10 for 5 pairs of earplugs. Ok, done with my ranting....

I loved the show! First one I have seen on this tour. I can't wait til tomorrow and Saturday night!!!!

Was the stadium completely packed?? I think capacity was over 100,000

i'd say it was at about 85-90% full. i heard on the radio that there were about 80,000 people there. it is a very big stadium.

yes to all this.

see, this usually happens to me at DC shows, it was the same at Bruce. but my section was honestly amazing. no one even sat down for YBR, and the people around me knew all the words to everything.

so, yay Section 120!

I was in 120 as well, row 4. It was a great section, great view and great concert.

I decided to go into the pit this time around. For Chicago, I had seats for both shows and for Giants Stadium, I did outer rail.

I enjoyed the pit so much more. The energy of the people I was with was amazing. I'm talking to you Laura, Amp, Brad, Kimla, Amy! And kudos to our security guard!

I do miss Unknown Caller and NLOTH.

I was in the pit in Boston 1, and did outer rail this time. Had a good view, but yeah, I did miss the energy in the pit.

I forgot to mention that I thought the Red Zone 2 was a bit crowded. A lot of those folks showed up late and it was full.

And, we had an excellent tailgate party before the show. Arrived at FedEx field at 4:00pm with absolutely no traffic. Ate, drank, and got merry with friends from our old neighborhood. The let us park right next to the exit, so we had no issues getting out of the stadium either. It went very smoothly.

It did get a bit chilly so had to buy the U2 360 hoodie to keep myself warm! :applaud:

Yes, there was a set list change. The girl next to me in the pit had the original set list before the show, and there were 2 or 3 songs different in the real set list. e.g. I don't remember seeing Elevation or Stuck on there, but it did have YBR, NYD, TUF.

If people showed up late, it was because they were stuck in traffic. The show started late to allow people time to get in. This probably explains the shortened set list - I think they had a 11:15 curfew. A few people left after the main set to beat the traffic, but they missed Streets unfortunately.

I forgot to mention that I thought the Red Zone 2 was a bit crowded. A lot of those folks showed up late and it was full.

I had RZ1, and the will call line took 20-30 minutes. The sign said "Red Zone Will Call", and half the people in the line didn't know what RZ was. So the line was longer. There was also only person doing all of RZ will call, for hundreds of people. I missed the first 1-2 songs of Muse as a result.

Amp was pulled up. I was standing next to him and helped him hold his flag up

We rocked last night. I had a great time with you all

I think Fed Ex Field did a great job with the GA queue. They checked the numbers before we went to the shutes to get in and when things got pushy they stopped the line. We had to walk down steps to get on the field and they let us go down one at a time so no one would be pushed and fall. We could walk to the inner circle. I was front rail in front of Adam. The venue secruity did get yelled at by U2's secruity for letting the vips in first. By the time the GA people got to the floor they were already in front of the stage.

I had a great time rocking out with Julie, Amp, Brad, Kimla and Amy. I helped Amp hold his flag up during Sunday Bloody Sunday and when Bono pulled him up was very exciting. I also got the setlist from the camera man. This was my last show of the tour and it was a great one
