Talking is an "interesting" texture?

To each their own. I find the nuances in Bono's voice on songs like WAS and Cedars to be much more engaging than his shrill "poppy" singing on Ordinary Love. (Btw if you think he's "talking" on WAS, maybe you need to reacquaint yourself with that song. He's clearly singing, and it's a fine performance).
 
Have listened to it on my ipod on repeat for a few days, and it started to annoy me. :lol: Didn't have that with NLOTH2 or a lot of other songs.
It's a fun little tune, but that's about it for me.
 
This song got an athmosphere that havent been on the three latest albums, Winter and the original version of Mercy had this kind of atmosphere.

Last time I heard it was on Pop(IYWTVD...), it has this kind of Achtung Baby-voiceecho sound also.
