Now THAT is what 1 show size too big looks like.

Also, I didn’t start Likely in Fantasy, but sure glad I drafted him.

I know there were some big plays and lots of scoring but i did not like having it in Brazil.

The field was shit and prob cost the Packers their season if Love is out for extended period of time. He was clearly suffering from something before the final play. His feet were constantly slipping and sliding and prob pulled something

As long as the owners got some extra money in their pockets, that’s what really matters.

This sucks though, probably an ACL. Pretty much ruins the season for me other than for fantasy purposes.

It’s insane to me. Talking about 16 international games soon.

Are they really generating that much $$$ from this ?

Welp. Not an ACL so that’s good. Packers season is still fucked if love misses 4 out more games though.

imagine giving the biggest contract in NFL history to a QB who can't even get past the divisional round :lmao:

Well my fantasy team has a slim lead and the only player left on the other team was McCaffrey so hey, that's my literal only win of the first NFL weekend, bets and rooting interest combined.

So I've got that going for me.

160 million dollars.
it's not really 160 million. most NFL contracts aren't.

they can cut him after this year. there will be some dead cap money, but significantly less than paying him the full amount - and if they're drafting a QB, who will be on a rookie scale contract, it's not as big of a financial hit as it would be if they ended up bringing him back for 2025.

certainly not as bad as, say, trevor lawrence's deal. $275 million. $200 guaranteed. flies under the radar because he's in Jacksonville and not NY but, well...

But take into account Lawrence's first season was with Urban Meyer the whole operation was a trainwreck, he's on the upswing. Dan'l Jones notsomuch.
And how have Danny Penny's last 13 starts been?

That's such a disingenuous graphic it's not funny.
Lawrence certainly hasn't lived up to the hype yet, but 101 out of 100 GMs would take Lawrence over Jones right now.

I don't want to see a guy die on a football field. We came close to that with Hamlin (the irony of him being involved in the collision with Tua last night).
If Tua continues to play, I feel that's where we're headed.

You know, they questioned it after the play, but why wouldn't a QB with a history of concussions opt for the feet first slide when running with the ball? I'm of the opinion that he should retire.
