What is Edges fave guitar?

i'm really curious whats edges fave guitar? I know that hes had that explorer for so long but besides songs like Beautiful Day and I Will Follow he barely uses it, I see him using his Yellow Les Paul or his Stratocaster for most of the songs...any thoughts?

Gibson Les Paul Cream( One played on it, zoostation, the fly)

I know this is a gibson, but can somebody tell me what kinda gibson it is? (elevation guitar)

Fender Stratocaster(Streets, Bad, in the early days Sunday Bloody sunday, wich is now played on a Telecaster), by the way, I jsut noticed, in this pic it's the sunburst, only Pride and Stuck in a moment are played on this one, streets etc are played on a black/black and white one)

anybody got pics and info on the With or Without you guitar? I"ve no clue what it is!

it IS dallas....
and as I posted.. he does have a black strat, and also a black n white one, and the sunburst one posted... AND also a green vintage one used in the vertigo vid but he doesn't take that one on tour..
they have different fretboards or so... guess to get the best sound for the songs out of em

I'd say his Explorer is his favorite as well.

yes, he may have a favourite guitar, who knows. I don't but he has so many and has each one setup to create just the right sound for the song or few songs it's used for.

It is. And Velvet Dress too I believe.

I think he used the Infinite guitar live on the Elevation tour.

i heard he has a grestch i'd love to see it if someone has a pic of it...also he has some kind of shiny electric acoustic for LAPOE...and a black and red electric acoustic that he plays for the Fly on the vertigo tour

the gretsch is the same guitar Bono has, but Edge's is red... Gretsch Irish Falcon... he used it to play Please...Bono played Last Night On Earth on it.. further I can't remember atm

that top guitar is a Gibson Les Paul, in a Gold Top colour -- very cool

the bottom Fender Strat is in natural -- story goes that it's one of Edge's very favourite and rarely comes out of his home.

that is a Gibson SG -- the one Edge has is a very expensive model that Dallas got for him (at something like $5 grand )

that's a Fernandes Decade Elite with Infinite Sustain, an essential for playing WoWY

This is the Fender he used for With Or Without You on the Vertigo Tour

that is an Fernandes Retrorocket, also with infite sustain

that's an Epiphone Casino, a new one for Edge on this tour -- he got it to replace some guitars he lost in the flood at HQ a little while ago

The Gibson SG is an Angus Young Signature edition SG. And yeah its real expensive.

i dont think the SG is an Angus Young model -- the Angus Young model has a different headstock and trem bar. but Edge's is not a standard SG model either

This is sooooo helpful...I've always heard talk of the various guitars but never knew what they looked like. I only played acoustic when I was a kid.

Now, if somebody had time on their hands and could do a text catalogue -- guitar plus songs it is used on -- that would be a real clip and save.
