You won't be disappointed. Is it sad that it has almost been two days and I am still thinking about it?!
A great show gives the gift that keeps on giving.

That was all probably W A Y more than anyone wanted to know but I had to tell someone and my friends don't care.
OK, Takk is pretty great.
My favorite: Seaglopur. It's so absurdly epic.
Okay too bad. I'm trying out Ágætis Byrjun. As long as it doesn't turn me away from them, it should be fine. Is it that different from Takk?
I am seeing them tonight in San Diego, the first time seeing them since 2003. I am excited.
I have a lot to say about the actual show if anyone's interested
AB has the "classic" Sigur Ros sound in my opinion, as it's what more or less defined them as a band. That's how I think of it at least. Takk... still has some of that, but things feel more concise (in sound and length), more production and added orchestration, and "poppier" songs (if you can say that about Sigur Ros). In terms of accessibility, I personally would think Takk... is far and away the most easily digestible.

Some highlights:
- I loved everyone's clothes!
- Festival. Wow. Just wow. It was easily the standout song for me on the new record the first time I heard it and it is amazing live.
- Hafsol. Incredible. If mofo hadn't given me a heads up on this song I wouldn't have even been able to identify it but it was a highlight.
- Did they throw stuff and knock over the drums in SLC, appearing to be pissed off, was that part of the show? So it ended on a weird note with some confusion from the audience until they all came out for the final bow, then everyone went crazy. When they all stepped to the edge of the stage right in front of me it was just amazing. How stupid am I not to have had a camera!
Parachutes - despite my dislike of having to sit through an opening band, it was hard not to like these guys especially when I wanted to invite them over for hot chocolate and cookies (but not in Arizona).
I forgot to mention its awesomeness last night.
-Any idea which member of Parachutes is Jonsi's boyfriend?
oh yeah, which song was it where they had the tiny confetti in the lights that looked like snow?
I forgot about that. I can't remember which song it was.
Too much is not enough.
-Did the drummer look like the Burger King at your show too?
I think I'm in love with every member of the band.
it's gonna drive me nuts now!
it was a slow song... Fljotavik?
Zootles, I have looked in my crystal ball and see that you are soon to become obsessed with Sigur Ros.
Amish bass player included?
Have I said lately that Sigur Ros know how to end a song? And that Radiohead should have consulted with them before ending "All I Need"?
The adorable one, of course.
I don't remember which member of the band that was now, doesn't even look familiar.
I had no idea Jonsi has some eye related issue. I too have a not so noticeable lazy eye, hopefully that means that one day I will be as awesome at music as Thom and Jonsi.
Sigur Rós is named after lead vocalist Jónsi Birgisson’s little sister Sigurrós.
This picture was too sweet not to post. They’re wearing the same shoes!
A Google search brought up this image which it too cute... I included the text as well:
