Like everyone else I am without tickets more then 24 hours after the pre-sale started. I was feeling so down and depressed when to my surprise there in my mailbox today was my kick-ass u2.com keychain. They couldn't have timed it more perfectly to lift my spirits so.
Today I have chosen to listen to only Pearl Jam and Radiohead at work since through both bands' fan clubs I was able to buy tickets freely for multiple shows and the tickets available were the best ones in the house. Radiohead didn't even charge for a membership.
I have not given up on tickets since they haven't even announced shows in my area yet (Florida) but the past day of trying to get tickets and reading about everyone's horros stories has been so disheartening considering other bands have handled pre-sales before without issues like this, including Pearl Jam's last tour this past October in which they used Ticketmaster as the distributor.
