: Reader WP tells us that U2 has rehearsed several songs today: "Crumbs From Your Table," "Stuck In a Moment...," "Vertigo," "All Because of You," and "Original of the Species" complete with an accompanying string section. Also during pre-production, Edge was rehearsing a "Year 2000" comedy sketch with Conan. More to come!

I just ran upstairs feeling physically ill that they broke off the last 30 seconds of Vertigo, as gorgeous as it was going, and went to the first 30 seconds of fucking Maury Povitch pain porn with children playing games with their own lives and the lives of their innocent little babies...it made me want to puke!
It made me want to say, yeah, America, what a great fucking idea!
Do they have these shows elsewhere in the world?! did we need to cut into that right then?! wtf?!
I'll sign any and all petitions to NBC and whomever else, the bloody wankers...
it was such a fun high to watch the show and then to have it broken off like that (I hope other markets didn't have to endure that transition, blech) was literally nauseating to me

the show itself was so amazing, but it's gonna take me a while to get past the ending...I guess I'm not used to that sort of tv anymore, having moved away from network stuff...

Great show, first time I got to hear Oots live, only wished they wouldve turned up Edges guitar to rip into the Chorus, like on the album version. I found myself laughing out loud through the whole show!
