So we are still absent some minor details, such as tour dates, tour name, whether it's all going to be stadiums, how many legs etc etc.
However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been starting to think about how many shows I'm going to try and take in, and where. I've made some precautionary arrangements, by gifting u2.com memberships to a few selected friends and family in the hope that there will be a pre-sale (it's not guaranteed, but I struggle to believe there will be nothing for members), but need to start planning which shows I'll be aiming for.
On the last tour, I was at Manchester 1, Glasgow, Dublin 1 and Dublin 2. I've already made the monumental decision not to go to to Dublin this time around - been there, done that, someone else's turn - but I'm determined to see no less than 4 shows.
Going to the obligatory Scottish date is a definite, don't care whether its Edinburgh or Glasgow, but prefer the former as Murrayfield Stadium is walking distance from where I live.
I'll probably get to one in the north of England - presumably either Manchester or Leeds - as it's reasonably easy to get to and I've got plenty of friends in the region I can speak to.
London is also a stick-on, hopefully both shows (assuming there are 2).
So that's four, but I do want to try something different on this tour. I've looked into costs for getting to Barcelona at the end of June, the opener if rumours are to be believed, but it's looking a bit pricey. Paris maybe or possibly Rotterdam/Amsterdam. All easy to get to.
What is everyone else's plans? I'm starting to get stressed about ticket buying!
