We're not on subject. It was a poorly written bill with a lot of legal gray.
You're right. Abortion is depressing as hell. And if you thought a fetus is a human life, as prolifers do, you'd agree about the seriousness of it. That's why it is my main issue when casting my vote for president.
This is a debate for another thread, gang. Start a thread if you must (Abortion Take Infiniti: I'm Not Changing My Mind and Neither Are You), but let's give it a rest in here, okay?
I'm frankly impressed she didn't give him credit for being the first signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Revere and Dawes were joined by a third rider, Dr. Samuel Prescott. Soon after, all three were arrested by a British patrol. Prescott escaped almost immediately, and Dawes soon after. Revere was held for some time and then released. Left without a horse, Revere returned to Lexington in time to witness part of the battle on the Lexington Green.
It appears Palin was right about "warning the British". He did it while he was detained. And there was a bell pealing.
Revere, Dawes, and Prescott were detained by a British Army patrol in Lincoln at a roadblock on the way to Concord.[12] Prescott jumped his horse over a wall and escaped into the woods; he eventually reached Concord. Dawes also escaped, though he fell off his horse not long after and did not complete the ride.[18][19] Revere informed the officers of the army's movement from Boston, and that British army troops might be in some danger if they approached Lexington, because of the large number of hostile militia gathered there.[20] He and other captives taken by the patrol were then escorted east toward Lexington, until the sound of musket fire from the town center alarmed the patrolmen. Revere explained to them that it was probably an arriving militia company that had fired a volley upon its arrival. The sound was followed not long after by the pealing of the town bell.[21]

You didn't read the actual letter written by Paul Revere, did you?Palin believed that he was famous for ringing bells to warn the British. He never rang any bells, and he is not famous for warning the British, he's famous for warning the Americans that the British were coming. Nice try, though. Palin fans have been trying to edit Revere's Wikipedia article for days. Seriously.

"[Revere] warned the British that they weren't going to be taking away our arms. By ringing those bells and making sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free."

but don't worry, her supporters have been trying to edit the Wikipedia page, because American History -- like the Tucson shooting, like Rolling Thunder -- is really about Sarah Palin.
