I think the point is that today, the market surged, and generally the markets have been on a remarkable recovery.
Which is pretty impressive for businesses operating in socialism.
Well I mean at least justify your posting or something. If that's your point, please say it.
I love me a good market surge.
so ... mixed feelings here. it's kind of nice that Romney can spend all he wants but can't finish higher than third in either MS or AL. authenticity -- which matters here, the heart of the Confederacy, more than anywhere -- can't be bought, not even by Mr. Cheesy Grits.
it seems shocking to me that so many women -- at least in these primaries -- voted for Santorum. i know that people vote against their own interests all the time, but, well, i am a bit taken aback. perhaps slut-shaming resonates more with conservative women?
i'd like to see Santorum as the nominee because i think the General would be a cake walk for Obama. however, keeping in mind Obama's surprising drop in the polls this week, it appears that the country is still enough after a decade of war and recession that some major catastrophe could somehow propel Santorum into the White House. it's a thought so utterly terrifying and just so batshit insane that, well, i'd rather Mittens.
hey, at least my taxes will go down. i can always use a new couch.

Bias
Not funny.
Anyways, Mitt Romney projecting two third place finishes today. Good for Santorum, good for Gingrich, good for Paul. Good for the world.
also, quickly, "elite media" is the most meaningless, empty, dog-whistle phrase i think to come out of this election cycle.
it means nothing.
really?
no bias, here?
we all have bias
I used to think dead people had no bias
but I have been watching them, they have a bias towards passivity.
Eh, I wouldn't call Santorum a slut-shamer; I don't think he has the kind of 'feminazis are threatening my rightful place in society' hangups that term usually implies when ascribed to men, his social conservatism seems more holistic than that. Anyhow, would it really be any less surprising for conservative women to favor Newt Gingrich? And obviously Romney was never going to do well with those voters for whom 'being a strong social conservative' is high priority, and there are a lot of them in MS and AL.it's kind of nice that Romney can spend all he wants but can't finish higher than third in either MS or AL. authenticity -- which matters here, the heart of the Confederacy, more than anywhere -- can't be bought, not even by Mr. Cheesy Grits.

I believe the height of the W Bush economy (mid/late 2007) was contained in that graph on the previous page. .
So really, the bias might be in not seeing that it was on an upward track from 2001 on until the collapse. Then again, if you began in 2001 and didn't acknowledge that there was a massive economic boom in 2000, with a surplus and balanced budget that Bush inherited, you'd be shining it the other way. Then again, if you didn't acknowledge that 2001 was also the 9/11 recession and that revenues fall after massive tax cuts, you'd be unfair to W...then again, you could say that the deficit created under Bush was due to a useless war and unnecessary tax cuts, then again you could say those tax cuts spurred on the recovery...well, you get the point. There's always a spin.
What we do know is that the ass clowns in the financial industry that fucked ALL of us in late 2008 have never been taken into account and have no real hindrance to simply doing it all over again.
Lucky, welcome to FYM and welcome to politics... It happens on all sides.
My interest in politics is merely from a justice standpoint. Bettering politics and taking down the machine. As you can imagine with all of this, I'm a Ron Paul guy.

I respect your point and agree to a certain point. But when it comes to justice, Ron Paul is definately not the answer.
And you see, from my perspective as a lawyer, this sounds like a completely hollow platitude that isn't accompanied by any sort of reasonable explanation of what it means at all.
I think you need to stop being so butthurt and get over it.
