You sure, Cassie?
So, The Beatles solo work.
Right.
Love George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. Probably my favorite solo Beatles work, period. I love some of Lennon's songs, but not many full albums. McCartney and Ringo I don't have much of, but I'm listening to Ram right now.
I think that's about it, in a nutshell.
I've always found their solo work to be disappointing compared to what they made together. I think Wings was pretty good and Lennon had some amazing songs though.
Definitely. Nothing compares to what they did together at all.
This is why I'd never want any of U2 to do solo albums. The combination is the magic.
Mostly just something different from the sound of the last two. How about you?
That and I'd love some songs that blow me away. Moment of Surrender sounds like it could.
I must say I love the titles for this album.
Has part of that one leaked?
Same here, at least for the ones I've heard.
Not yet. The description is
Walk Out Into The Streets, Unknown Caller and Moment of Surrender are all great titles.
Definitely.
I like that Bono is taking a third person approach to the lyrics. That's when he is at his best in my opinion.
Isn't that how it always is?
I was lurking around that time, and yeah, it'll be interesting to say the least.
It should be a fun few months. Leaks, radio debuts, album art, tour dates and so on.
It's draining too. I'm trying to prepare myself as much as possible.
