Don't know if anyone's been checking ticketmaster but U2 have always held back tickets for every show they've done in TO over the years and released them the week leading up to the gig to combat scalpers.

Any chance that any additional tickets that would normally be released to the general public are being taken by the massive VIP guest list from stars attending the film festival in TO. I read in the Globe that all 4 u2 shows will be full of stars.

Any thoughts if more tickets will be released or do we have to sit home while jake gigabyte (or whatever his name is) attends the show.

Still looking for tickets to Friday's show.

They will release shitty tickets. Do you think her majesty Gwyneth is gonna sit in section 314? I highly doubt it.

I thought they just cram the celebs into some luxury box, or they can go to the back of the floor with their backstage pass(not taking away any tickets)

No, they put them into actual seats as well. Harrison Ford was sitting in one of the really great side sections (118? 119?) last time when they were in Toronto.

One worry is how many familiar faces will be in the "heart/oval"

I also wonder whether just the opening night will be 'celeb night' or all 4 shows.

In L.A. they are usually escorted to where the engineers / mixers are set up near the back of the floor. At least I have seen stars there before
