It is kind of artsy though, and I give them credit for that. In a way, it's too back they didn't have the balls to put the watermark in the final version.
Another example of the Tedder-Epworth cabal ruining everything.
Because a pointless and annoyingly repetitive "This is a watermark for Robin Rhodes" remark rightfully missing is somehow ruining EBW ?
Another example "it's better because it's not the reworked version" syndrome.
I wonder what the rawer versions of the songs Tedder and Epworth worked on sound like before they were polished up.
I actually like this Alt. version of EBW and the acoustic version better than the album version.
Should've let DangerMouse do the whole album! Screw Tedder! Screw Epworth!

I'm guessing that this version is still Tedder and Epworth.
Doubt it.

I still prefer the album version, but the other 2 are fine.
Why? The song sounds exactly the same except for two changed lines and a different guitar part. Edge told Tedder to completely deconstruct Wave. You're telling me that's all he did to it was change two lines and some guitar? No way.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. There's just not enough different about it to suggest that Tedder had nothing to do with it.Yup.
I didn't listen closely enough, but didn't Edge or Bono say something to the effect of Tedder moving the song's original chorus down to the middle 8 or vice versa? If that's not apparent in the song, then it's possible that it's just an alternate version of the song they worked on since the spring. Sort of like how that Spanish fan site had fans that claimed they heard two slightly different versions of The Miracle in the studio.
Thanks to Justin for this
Happy to pass on to anyone else who wants it.

I think you've missed the sarcasm.
