Scruffy's is a great bar, I've been know to drink Guinness there. :hyper: From Scruffy's there is Ginn Mill across the street, and Herb's just a few doors down from Ginn Mill. Walk two or three blocks from there to the combined rooftop of the Tavern Downtown and Cowboy Lounge. If you like to...

Yes, the Residence Inn is within walking distance and the area is safe. I have some friends who live just around the corner from that hotel. You'll be walking through a neighborhood that is a bit diverse, but should be just fine. My friends and I wandering around Croke Park in Dublin post...

I should call my friend who is the Director of Operations for Invesco Field...he would know. I drove past the intersection of 1-25 and Speer Blvd. the other day and got a few more names of hotels there for anyone who needs them. You can walk to the stadium from there. There's a Residence...

That's not true at all! It's the opposite, actually. The theather is closed on the day of a show, unless of course you have a ticket. But on days when there is not a show, they keep it open and you can drive right up, park, and walk right on stage. I run the stairs at the theater a few times a...

Plenty of hotels right around the stadium that aren't directly downtown. There are some off Speer Blvd on the west side of I-25. I know for a fact there is a Residence Inn there. I'll try to catch more of the names when I drive by later. I live only about three miles northwest of the...

Quick questions for you guys....I'm sure someone here can answer them. We went to the Friday show and my friends and I cannot remember for the life of us the song that The Edge sang where he awesomely hit the really high notes. Anyone remember? Also, trying to remember the song that played...

GA Experiences So Far- Good, Bad, Ugly?

Ugh...not sure whether to be nervous or excited about GA in Dublin on Friday. Either way, I'll be SEEING U2 in DUBLIN, so I'm just going to be happy to be there. It wouldn't hurt if I were directly in front of Bono the whole night though! :D

Look into Aircoach...depending on where you are staying they might be a good choice. Taxis are expensive! My hotel recommended the aircoach bus. See you all soon! I'm in Ireland and having a great time....and this is only the beginning!

Love 'em or hate 'em...I could not care less what the general public of Ireland thinks of Bono and U2. Fact is that I'm leaving tomorrow morning to see U2 in DUBLIN. :applaud: Yahoo! See you on Friday.

I didn't have a chance to read back to see if it's been posted yet...but I have a claw question! Did they announce yet how the entry to the claw (the inner circle) will be handled? First come, first served vs. lottery? How many does that area hold? Any info you have to share would be...

    GA Tips and Tricks

Looking forward to some sort of formal announcement so I know whether I should be at a pub in Dublin "getting ready" for the show, or whether I need to be in line. I want to be somewhat close, first few rows would be great....but not sure how I feel about standing in line all day. Anxiously...

What a great week! I got my tickets in the mail yesterday and I won $1,250 on Wednesday. We had a weight loss contest at work and my team won...so not only did I win $1,250 which pretty much pays for airline, concert and hotel...but I can now fit back into my size 6 skinny jeans. Yahoo!

What is the difference between the two? I moved to Portland, OR from Washington state last year, and they have an "enhanced license" that you can apply for if you go to Canada a lot and don't want to bring your passport each time. I'm just hopeful I'll actually get my passport STAMPED this...

Dublin2..."25th July" Fan meetings & Gatherings etc...

Convert $$ to euros now...you'll get a better exchange rate. Then pay cash for everything while in Ireland. That's my plan anyhow! And from what I've heard, you'll be hard pressed to find a pint for less than 6 euros in Dublin. Maybe someone who knows Dublin better can confirm this for us...

Not sushi, more teriyaki like. Noodle bowls, rice bowls, gyoza (dumplings), kara age, ebi katsu, etc. Yum, yum, yum! I will definitely eat here a few times since we are staying in St. Stephen's Green. I highly recommend it! Here is a link to their menu: wagamama | positive eating +...

It's definitely worth checking around a bit before you decide how to get $$ while in Dublin. When I studied in London in college I know that I got a horrible exchange rate on my Visa, I payed a lot in fees for using my debit card and I also paid a lot in fees at the ATM. I didn't watch it as...
