Thanks Headache for the tips on the FB group regarding the MyVegas things... I started playing the app associated with Hard Rock as that is where I am tentatively staying in December, but I felt like I was getting nowhere. This feels like it might be more likely to yield some rewards between now an the Vegas trips. I am reposting here in case anyone else is interested. My phone is just set to auto spin while I am working. I am also working from home around 80% of the time so that makes it easier. lol

a free slot machine game. well - technically free. the more you play - the more VIP points (they used to call them LPs - or Loyalty Points) you get. you can then cash in your VIP points for discounted or free items - including freeplay and rooms. the rooms are typically 100k to 200k (in VIPs).
there's the facebook app, but there's also a bunch of phone apps - MyVegas, MyVegas Blackjack, MyVegas Bingo, Pop! Slots, MGM Slots, myKonami Slots and the newest one is Tetris. You can earn VIPs on all.
it's not that hard to grind out a decent amount of VIPs if you put some minimal time in on each app. even just logging in every day will earn you some apps and chips.

the mobile apps have a cap of around 2,000 LPs per 24 hour period (give or take - some of the apps have different limits. tetris for example has a higher limit because it's new and they want you to use it). that's per app. there's no cap on the facebook app.
so what i do is just start it up and let it run on auto while at work and then switch the apps once it hits the daily limit.
like i said - it's a grind - but it's not impossible to get 10k+ VIPs per day with minimal effort. the mobile app VIP process is time based and automatic (provided you're interacting with the app - you technically don't have to even play, just have it open and touch the screen every minute lol)... the facebook app is win based (i.e. the more you win on the slots and at the higher level, the quicker you get more VIPs).
i usually start ramping up my play 2 months before a vegas trip. i don't go after the free rooms - but i do go after the freeplay and a couple of the restaurant redemptions. typically need around 500,000 VIPs to pull off what i want - and i've never not gotten what i need in the time i set.

Yea it's a fairly simple process if you just put a little bit of time in.

Helps if you buy some chip packages. Don't have to be the expensive ones - but if you toss $20 bucks at it it'll help things move faster.

When I need to really grind some VIPs out I'll toss the Facebook app on at night, set it to auto and just forget about it (other than to make sure my laptop screen doesn't time out).

The android app makes you touch the screen to keep the clock moving to try and prevent people from doing the above - which is kinda annoying, but can still be done quite easily without actually paying attention.

I don't go for the free rooms because I typically get comp midweek rooms as it is. But I'll grab about $100 in Freeplay to use on slots or video poker, plus I usually get the Tom's Urban buy one get one offer.

MOVIE IDEA!!!!!

You let me know if it turns out to be a drama, comedy or horror movie.

There is an MGM casino here in town. I am a $20.00 gambler, but might have to make a visit one of these days if it is likely to result in some Vegas perks. :hmm:

I've had comedy and drama! The best was actually arranged here on interference and we're still friends.

You've done this before? Interesting.

My mind goes right to horror and comedy.

I love this setup. In real life, I met a few people on here in the real world -- and let me tell you -- I was the most normal. And that's scary!!!!!

I have met a lot of Interferencers over the years and they were all sane (as far as any of us are). Back in 2005 I also shared hotel rooms with a couple of people I was meeting for the first time.

Hey man, travel is expensive. If you can split a hotel room that means you can go to another show.

It’s all fun until you wake up without a penis. Or with one you didn’t own before.

I've shared a hotel room with an Interference stranger.

And yeah no more penis
