Ok, I just used status shuffle on my status, and a "friend" puts on there that they like original status updates more. Then I guess they realized it sounded rude, so they erased it. Is it just me, or is what I decide to post up to me, and not for the satisfaction of others? I hate people who don't take 2 seconds to censor themselves!

Those status shuffles are hilarious!

Maybe the friend was trying to say they'd rather hear from you and what's going on in your life or what you have to say? Like you said, they realized what they said was rude and deleted it. I don't blame you for being mad though.

Status shuffle is an app that has some prewritten staus updates...some are hilarious, come are sentimental. I have used it once or twice, but I like to read through it. I saw one tonight that I really likes, so I made it my status.

This friend has all but ignored me in the last little while. I really don't give 2 shits about what their opinion is! When I put down my everyday life things, they don't comment, but they do on this. I am just easily irritated tonight. I don't particularly like what this person does repeatedly on their status updates, but I don't post that on their wall for everyone to see...

Thanks for the hugs though!:hug::hug::hug:

They were once a friend....

 I fail tonight.

Perhaps a drink to calm you? :sexywink:

DESTROY ALL HUMANS!!!

I'm not too stabby tonight, but I have been lately. ;)

I got annoyed a while back when someone commented on my two hundred eighty-something countdown post about "I hope you do this every day." Dude, if you're not interested in my status, it takes you like half a second to scroll past it!

I'll take the drink and the 2 guys in the pic. Should make for an interesting night! :combust:

It's almost 2 am. I have to be up at 8 to get ready for the day, run to Radio Shack to get a replacement for my shitty BlackBerry, then I'm working from 11 to 9 or 10. I should probably go to bed....ah fuck it!

Exactly, it takes longer to post a rude comment than it does to just scroll past. I get that it would get boring if I used status shuffle all of the time, but if you go through my profile, I don't. However, my friends have helped me out a lot this week, so this status seemed appropriate!

I am off to bed. It is my son's first hockey game of the season tomorrow! Thanks for the kind words! Talk to you soon!

Be sure to take pictures! Um... of them. I love ya and all, but.. ;)

Sleep is overrated! :D Consider staying up practice for Montreal!

Exactly- I have a kind of "If you don't like what I post, bite me." attitude. I have a few family members and such on my friends list, so I censor myself a tiny bit, but in general, I'm going to post what makes me happy!

Geez, you girls are quick! Comments on the main plotlines of this thread, as follows:

zuropa, sorry to hear about the funeral  :(. My condolances go out to you.

daygloeyes, whee, happy to hear of your new love interest :D! Hope things continue to go well on that front.

Don't believe I've ever met Jez here, so nice to meet you !

Love the picture of the new kitty that was shared in here :cute:! I fully agree, people who abandon/abuse animals piss me off. I don't understand how they can do such a horrible thing.

My sister and her fiance have a cat-I should share a picture of her on here sometime. I've never had a problem with cats, but I've always tended to naturally be more of a dog person, 'cause I've grown up with our family owning dogs and am more used to them. And I still love them. But damn if my sister's cat isn't one of the cutest things ever. She's also incredibly hilarious as well.

:lmao:...every time I see this I can't help but think of the male version, which Jon Stewart once said that "The Daily Show" staff took some delight in poking fun at :p.

Also, that Flight of the Conchords song that was shared in here is AWESOME. I love those guys, they're hilarious (speaking of TV, Thora, neat DVD collection there :). I saw you had 'Rent'-my sister LOOOOOOOOOOOOVES that play. She has all sorts of 'Rent' stuff, even went to see the show on Broadway a few years ago and met the cast and stuff. She was so incredibly happy about that. I have some DVDs, but most of them are music-related-U2, Muse, hell of a lot of Finn stuff, and there's still some that are packed away. My mom got me the 'Get Smart' movie for my birthday recently, though, so yay ).

I have no sexy cleavage pictures to share in this thread. I've never taken one. I'm not one who wears shirts that show cleavage to begin with, and even if I did, I tend to be hesitant about posting that stuff online-all the horror stories, you understand. But I dunno... Either way, lovely shots, girls :p :D. Somewhere out there, men are salivating.

And finally, think I could search out Bono or any of my other crushes to give me a nice foot rub? Had my first full evening of training at my job today and it was madness and my feet have to get used to running around so much again-they were aching a bit at the end of the night.

We just adopted a kitty from the local animal shelter. She's a real sweetheart. We're calling her Samus

DSC07470.jpg

she is adorable!!! I think it is wonderful that you picked her up from the local shelter! that's a noble thing to do ! I'm a firm believer that if a person takes a pet, he/she carries a responsibility for the animal and has to offer them the best possible life and best possible care and take them as part of the family. I'm always very frustrated by people who neglect their animals or people who abuse animals. To me, those people are worth nothing!
Anyway, I'm sure Samus will soon start to feel herself like at home! Takes a bit time to settle in! But she will definately bring you a lot of joy and laughter :)

Nice shirt, cori!

I recently found a DVD cataloging website, so I've been entering all my DVD's. Apparently it tells you how much your collection is worth (presuming you paid full price for everything, which of course I didn't). I'm going to wait until everything's in there before I check how much it's worth. Probably a lot! :crack:

G'night, Amy!

oh, DVDs ... I certainly have a weakness for DVDs, I have a lot of them! part of being a movieholic I guess! only very good (or at least good) movies end up in my collection (well, to my standards anyway)! I think I own about 300 dvds (incl. some boxes) and of course the collection is always growing... :)

Any one up for this: those of you who have the LOTR movies (I do ) what over all did you enjoy about them, and what were a few of your favorites scenes? I think we should spoiler the scenes.

Did you see the movies before you read the books or visa versa.
and oh I Lovvvvvvve The Soundtrack!!! :D

I missed being involved here on what ever LOTR discussions were around.

hah, too much to answer here, so just an overall thing then (i'll never stop otherwise)! I :heart::heart:LOTR - both the movie and Tolkien's brilliant books to bits. My endless love for the Middle Earth actually started from seeing the first movie, I must confess. Though I knew and liked the storyline before, just hadn't read them til that point. but my family did have The Hobbit book in the bookshelf and I remember that as a child I constanly took it out of the shelf from among tons of other books (i guess I already knew then how much brilliancy is hidden there!)
i have only warm feelings when I think of the Middle-Earth, for god's sake, I'm even wearing The One Ring every day :)
I enjoyed every scene of the movie, but I can tell you that my heart bursts and tears of happiness come to my eyes every time I see the scene in FOTR where Frodo & Gandalf ride through the Hobbiton!
my favourite movie characters: Aragorn & Boromir
my favourite book character: Faramir (only time ever when I've cried while reading a book, the story-line with his father just broke my heart!)

Where is that site?

Drea, are you up for a 3 way birthday bash with Wild and I in Montreal or Toronto? We are all marking the same milestone!:sexywink:

Hell Yes! We can go hit Hurley's in Montreal after one of the shows, or Brutopia... and I'm sure there'll be something going on in TO too, despite it being a Monday
