so, does this mean the setlist will have Breathe crossed out?

why on earth would they leave Breathe out.....that kills the epic dynamic of the opening with Space Oddity and everything....

To be honest both prices seem weird extremes, $40 would be nice but it seems on the low end for the initial price of a deluxe edition from them, but then again there's no way that Amazon price turns out to be right either.

I'm guessing the notion of U2 releasing the DVD with new songs is slowly fading...

:sigh:

Oh to the well, the preview for this DVD still has me excited (and enhances my anticipation for June 6). I wonder if U2 will open the show with GOYB... :hmm:

Or something new...

:faint: :faint: :faint:

naaahhh :fist:

maybe the 7" is for the people who got that box to hold the 4 NLOTH singles, since it seems there's not going to be another single.

Would be cool if it was the first single off the next album.

I don't doubt its selections from the concert, but for a small record I wonder which songs the picked.

Took my code just fine.

it's taking mine too, but I'm anxious, because all this stuff drops in price on Amazon a few days after release. Like, $40 seems like a great price.... when compared to the $100-$250 that we've been hearing. Maybe that was all just a ploy by them?

Perhaps the ridiculous price was a mistake. This new information is much better

It doesn't say what's on the second DVD...maybe all the other stuff mentioned on the other page with the crazy price?

For 40 bucks, I'd buy it just because it includes a 7" single  And we don't even know what's on it.

At $39 for the Double disc, it will be on sale for $29 at Best Buy for the first 3 or 4 days.
It has always been like that with previous versions.
Just wait until then.

As a bonus for Blu-ray buyers, U2 plans to use that format’s Web connectivity to add content to the “Rose Bowl” disc throughout the year: “Video footage from the forthcoming 2010 U.S. and European tour will be continually updated to your player via the BD Live feature on the disc,” according to U2.com.

Go blu-ray players!

So they force us to buy the more expensive version when we actually want the whole show including the opener? :| Great.

I'm so pissed, I'm seriously considering not to by the DVD at all. Not including Kingdom and Breathe is beyond stupid, I don't know what they were thinking. Well done, again, U2.

Forcing you? wow did they come to your home and hold you at gun point?

^ No, I'm saying if you want the whole show, you have to buy the 2 DVD set. If you want the show without the opener, you can buy the simple concert DVD. Look, I love this band and I have been looking forward to a new concert DVD, but I don't understand the decision to drop Breathe from the set and include it as bonus material. Just seems ridiculous to me.

Nothing has been said about not including Kingdom

Interesting theory, maybe they'll include Kingdom and just skip Breathe?

I doubt it, because Boots has its own intro, but we'll see.

Haven't you been saying for months you wouldn't buy this anyway because you thought it wasn't a great show and didn't need to see it again?

On another note, U2.com removed the comments section at the bottom of DVD article. If the comment I wrote was any indication, the reaction to not including Breathe must have been less than positive.

HAHAHA, thats kind of typical :)

So now u2.com is censoring? The positive comments stay and any critic will be removed?
Now I have to think about Bono't column for NY Times "...not to mention China’s ignoble effort to suppress online dissent, that it’s perfectly possible to track content. ..."

I thought we had it all on u2.com, but they keep surprising...
