You know, I always wanted to wear a cheesehead to Soldier Field -- though I don't know what kind of statement it would make at a U2 concert (other than I'm an idiot) . . .

:hi5:

As a former Wisconsinite, I was toying with the idea of wearing full Packer regalia to the Sunday show, as the Bears will be playing in Green Bay that night.

(Okay, I wouldn't really do it. Not because I'm scared of getting beat up, but because I'd never wear full-out Packer gear. I don't even own any Packer gear. I just like the idea of doing that for the Sunday show. )

What if we could get Bono to wear the Cheesehead?? I have Red Zone, so there just might be that window of opportunity . . .

Of ourse, he'd be met with a chorus of booing . . .

i'm hoping he sings during the 7th inning stretch during one of the games that weekend wearing a home cubs jersey with "bono" on the back.

So is there still going to be a get together on Friday??

^Thats what I want to know. :hyper:

When is the Blue Crack Support Group Meeting????

Hope there is still a gathering that night!

Just an idea guys:huh:

Friday, September 11th at The Abbey Pub | 3420 W. Grace | Chicago, Illinois 10:00 pm

September Shows at The Abbey Pub on www.abeypub.com

The U-2 Incident | Home

My wife only wants to go to one place Friday in the early evening & that is The Navy Pier but I have mentioned going here Friday night to see these guys:hmm:

Saw them twice already & will again this Friday night

Funny thing my wife just said to me last night

"Is SF's stadium top open?" I said "Yes I believe so..."

She said "I ain't gonna be standing in the rain..."

I said "You will woman & you'll like it !"

:madwife::blahblah:

Ok I didn't really say it but I did think it

L:huh:L

The show will go on, rain or shine (unless there's lightning), so take your rain poncho!

Seth that's a great idea. I think we're just waiting on Anu who was planning the gathering. So I don't know what's going on.

O ok I did not know about Anu

I am not even sure if I will be able to go unless I can drag my wife away from The Navy Pier but hopefully by about 9p.m. she will be bored w/ it:huh:

:heart:Still Need One GA For 9/12:heart:

I've been to navy Pier once, spent two hours there, and that was enough. Maybe that helps...

I almost wouldn't mind checking that out. My plans for Friday depend on what time I leave work that afternoon though. If I didn't leave until 6 pm, I probably wouldn't get to Chicago until 1 in the morning or so.

Might be fun to leave a bit earlier and see something like that with a bunch of fans though.

^Thanks - there's something called a "Bears Extra" train I think (maybe for games). Seems confusing on what stop to use, etc.

Romi:wave:

I hear you loud & clear being a mad as thou art LOL but tell me if a woman would want to stay there longer:huh:

being a woman, she may also want to go on a cruise from the pier that would add about an hour to your time spent there. Truth be told, the majority of the attractions are for kids, not adults, so you should go through everything there is to do in that amount of time.

I'm into a meet up too, if its for Friday evening.

I'm definitely up for an Interference get-together some time during the weekend. Friday might be good, though my wife and I are thinking about spending the night in southwest Michigan where we went to college--we have a lot of friends there that we haven't seen in a quite a few years. We haven't really decided yet.

SethVincent, I see you're coming up from Dayton! Cool. We just moved there, though we'll probably be driving to Chicago from Columbus because that's where I'm working.

Romi you The Man:applaud:LOL Good info

We already checked out the cruises & frankly neither one of us were impressed

I am figuring if I can get her there by about 5p.m. by 8p.m. ish she will be ready to leave:hmm:

You have to drive one hour to work:huh:

More than an hour. We live in Springboro--South Dayton, so it's more like an hour and a half.

Eventually we'll move to Columbus, when my wife finds work. Right now we are living with her in-laws here in Dayton.
