You haven't had aussie beer until you've had Kent Brown, Coopers Pale/Sparkling, or James Squire Amber/IPA
(I'll add Tooheys Old to that list as an indulgent favourite)

I'm not sure if I've ever seen Kent Brown around here, to be honest. There are some good Matilda Bay and Yarra Valley ones too, also the wine regions here make some nice boutiques. Australia, on the whole though, needs more microbreweries! We need to strip away the Fourex/Foster's/VB reputation.

Kent is an OLDschool NSW beer. It used to be Tooth's many many moons ago.
Only in a select few pubs these days.
Een, Monteith's make a good brew, don't typically like fruity beers, but the Zesty Radler is nice.
I never like beer at all, except for 1 or 2, but its been a growing taste

Oh, that must explain why I haven't tried it - I haven't been to No Spoken Words since I was a kid, anyway. Monteith's are pretty good, I like their Celtic Red Ale and Summer Ale particularly.

ha, sorry! i honestly tried beer, i went to a microbrewery and everything, and tried a little of each type they brewed, from the kind that's so light it looks like pee to the really black beer. my mom got a kick out of the faces i made while sampling them all.I normally don't drink beer...but I seriously feel like getting a beer and a slice of pizza right now.
