I don't wear foundation or anything of the sort :der: Just the occasional concealer for dark undereye circles. I'd be afraid of making myself look like a fool if I tried anything more

^ What April said, plus primer is just that - it primes the skin for makeup, helps even out tone and aids in making foundation "stick" better

I use Smashbos primer usually, I'd recommend it :D

I'm using the MAC prep+prime, but I keep meaning to try the smashbox one

Just ordered myself a couple bits from the virgin vie catalogue that we have over here, I dunno if you have that in the US? but I ordered:

A radiance moisturiser - love this
2 lipsticks - champagne truffle & nude shimmy - hoping they are good nude colours
A lipgloss in champagne sparkle which looks like a gorgeous golden nude

^ Ooh nice stuff! I love nude lipsticks, but I have darker skin, more of an olive/tan so i'ts hard to find the perfect shade. I love rosy tinted nude lipstick like MAC's Hug Me with Nars Turkish Delight on top, or Clinique's nude lipsticks with some very light red lip gloss, gives a pretty, fresh effect

Let me know what your new lipsticks are like when you get them! :hyper:

Rocking a new haircut and the UD Kiddie Pool :sexywink:

You're lucky. I look like shit if I don't wear foundation.

I finally found that tinted moisturizer does the job with a some powder dusted over it

My family, friends, and coworkers all gave me sephora gift cards for my birthday

and I was able to spend them all in one visit
and there was a side trip to Macys and the Chanel counter (it was my birthday gift to self)
:reject:

April - very pretty :cute:

Of course!! :D

I got a couple new lipsticks the other day just with an avon order,
these new clicky up with one click ones, pro to go? They are great. I got Dazzling Coral which i was hoping was gonna be a nice nude, but its like BRIGHT CORAL  I also got natural glisten and that is GORGEOUS!! like a pinky/mauvey/natural colour, its sooooo nice on, highly reccomended!! Also got one of those 24K lipsticks in the hot pink shade which is  I fancy trying the nude in that now

Oooh I love MAC hug me and cliniques nude lippies

I hate it when that happens :( Unfortunately, when mine disappears, it's usually because my puppy destroyed it :shakesfist:

call me prude, but i'm aghast at the overtly pornographic monikers slapped on cosmetics these days.

what ever happened to principled names like "pretty in pink", "princess pale", "tender kiss of tawny" "peck of pewter", "lovely in lavender" or "matronly mauve"?

you're all a bunch of vile hussies to partake of such a depraved marketing scheme!

I think I have a shade of eyeshadow called "vile hussy"

Ok, guys - Stila kajahl eyeliner? Unless you can really pull of the loads and loads of heavy eyeliner look, it's just ok. I bought some Rimmel pencils a week or so ago, and have been using them much more.

And the pink leopard bronzer is  When this runs out, I'm getting the full sized one. I like it more than the warmth because it brightens and adds a bit of pink to the cheeks, too.

At least you have a puppy to blame it on  I dunno where the heck my stuff goes to.......hmmm maybe my boyf is nicking my lipglosses.......hehehehe

And also isn't it funny how they sometimes miraculously turn up like 2 weeks later and you're like........huh?

April does this mean that Stila kajal is that thick then? Eyeliner is something I wear heavily and daily, I use an Indian handmade kajal from back home... Does the Stila one also have the same raccoon eyed effect? :hyper:

Yep, I pretty much had raccoon eyes, which on me, isn't a good thing!

I ended up taking and smudging most of it off with a q-tip, where it got to a point where it did look ok/good on me, but then I felt like what was the point of taking most of it off then?

Where did you apply it, on the waterline or outside? Kajal is supposed to be put heavily on the waterline, and the smudged effect is what it does naturally since it's so thick

What's the name of it?

You can put eyeliner on the upper waterline? How? I always do it outside...

*make up noob* Hi Zee! :)
