You see, there was this (fairly terrible) movie. It was about a dog, and the dog's name was Beethoven.

Also, my dog reminds me of disco, because disco balls created little spots on the walls of a dark room, and my dog has spots.

Edit: I just remembered how much trees remind me of airplanes, because you can see lots of trees whilst flying in an airplane.

Exciting time isn't it. Some great tunes around the corner from our favourite band. Its quite evident U2 are confident in the new material which will translate well into the live setting. They almost have that 90's confidence/arrogance about them right now.

I did it. I listened to the clips last night. Don't know why, just out of curiosity. Twice. And you know what? I'm shocked. They actually remind me of .... music. Maybe even music from U2. There are vocals. Guitar. You can even hear drums. And a bass. Oh my, U2 have used all of this before, I'm so disappointed. They are recycling all their previous music in these songs. I can't believe Bono would be so lame as to actually sing on these songs. I mean, all the singing has been done before. And Edge, give me a break. Guitar! How can he? Do they think we're stupid and have forgotten that they have actually played guitar on songs before? And Larry and Adam, I mean, come on. Aren't they able to come up with something other than drum and bass? Boring, boring. U2 sucks big time and the album will be crap. Thank God I know this now and can sleep calmly.

Clearly this is evidence of U2's increased suckitude. It began when they decided to blatantly steal the idea of notes and rhythm combining to form music.

Just wanted to pop in before I turn in and say that I can't get the 30 seconds of NLOTH out of my head, even though I haven't listened to any clips since midday Sunday. Between what I've heard, and the descriptions I've read, I think I'm going to love that song. I'm very excited to hear the whole thing.
