I honestly think he says "growing up" Go look at yourself in the mirror saying both words, but exaggerated and you'll see that he actually does mouth it correctly. I just think there might be a delay in either Bono's reaction to the song or the actual song in the video. Sometimes when you cut and paste multiple parts of the same video a delay can occur if you are trying to match it up to music.

Interesting that they took out the Arabic women. I wonder if they felt that it was too political of a statement, especially coming off of pushing "It's a Palestinean dream" at the Lincoln Memorial show.
I think they just needed to finish the video fast-- I believe they were originally planning on animating the clothing of the women (as some of them were animated in the leaked version), and it was going to take too long to do it.
