i would agree. i'm checking periodically, just in case, but i get the feeling that all radio stations were basically told "play it early, and you'll be sued." there's always a chance that some intern or disgruntled employee steals it, i mean, there's gotta be some radio stations that aren't managed all that well. but still, i'm betting that we won't hear it till Monday.

Yeah, I agree that our only chance is someone stealing it who has little or no regard for their job. This also requires whoever has hold of the song to be careless. A possibility? Sure, but it's not looking good.

So get your work done this week so that you can listen to the song 100 times on Monday

i have off on Monday for MLK day. so 100 times doesn't sound too off, lol!

Everyone just relax, go about your daily lives, go out and have a few drinks this weekend, and Monday will be here before we know it. /advice

My OCD won't allow that. I will be here constantly checking, hoping for something. My life will be utter misery until I get to hear this song. Monday is just too far away. :D

Do u think they are launch this song at the Obama thing on Sunday?

BBC here in UK says U2 will perform

To be fair I don't want to hear it live the first time I hear it, and I can't see them using the inauguration to play their new single, isn't that a bit inappropriate..? Or would they? I don't know I've never seen an inauguration before

well i reckon they will play COBL as Obama used this but they might just launch into it!

How good would that be!

I don't know :hmm: We'll just have to sit tight, me thinks.

I think it's just Bono, so it'll be "One."

Actually, I keep hearing about how they're trying to tie history into everything, and being the first black president and MLK Day just the day before, "Pride" might be a safe bet.

I'd rather hear Pride than One, and maybe we'd have some sort of indication of how they're going to play it on the next tour

... supposing it's U2 instead of Bono playing.

BBC report U2 will perform not just Bono

Well, it says the title of the event is "We are One."

I think we know what song they're playing. I'd like to also hear "MLK" with "Pride" right after it.

Maybe Bruce will sing Pride with Bono
Can you imagine him shouting "In the name of looove...what more in the name looove"?

Maybe they'll go crazy on us & play Mofo, Discotheque, The Fly (dedicated to the former president George Bush...kidding) or Wake Up Deadman.

Would be nice if they played something fitting besides One or Pride.
