got a hilarious voicemail from someone special

discovered that I can get U2 videos through On Demand

slept in again

got a compliment on my weight loss (thank you Iris)

looking forward to having my sister, our niece, doozie, sweetwolf and our nephew over for a visit later

Mr. BAW turned the AC on without me asking/begging/threatening him with death

Talked a bit with one of the guys in my creative writing class today-he seems really nice .

I got all my homework done in a fairly short amount of time tonight.

My family went out for dinner, and the food was great.

Watched a DVD earlier and quite enjoyed realizing that there are some very good-looking men wandering this planet .

It was an absolutely beautiful day. Warm, but beautiful.

Found an 80s tape at a CD store this evening that had a bunch of great songs on it, including a couple from a couple of my favorite bands.

There's my list of more good moments for today .

That reminds me of one good thing I want to add for today-after looking at all the sad images on TV, I'm looking around at my apartment and my family, and am quite thankful to still have a roof over my head and a dry place and a family whom I know is all okay. I hope those people down there will be able to get back to repairing their lives as soon as possible.

Got into college
From my student card picture i have lost a lot of weight, compared to my medical certificate pic

Got SG's mail (cheating 'cos that was yesterday )

Found out I dont start college on the 5th of September but....the 12th

I very nearly got my first job, in vision express......i'll be getting my call on friday (thank god for irish aunties that love me and get me jobs )

Found out a girl i know DIDNT get an A in maths, which is good 'cos she always rubs it in my face

And...i worked out that i can have my U2 gifs as MSN smileys

though they wont let me take graphic design next year.....and i got very wet

Woke up to a nice phone call and feeling like I have finally recovered from a vicious cold

Heard from two friends I haven't seen in a few months

Went shopping in town and spent some money on "essential" items
