I think the closest thing to a riot for me, would be the Depeche Mode signing in LA back for the Violator album.
That was awesome.

The 'Gibson' Amphitheater in Los Angeles will always be the Universal Amphitheater to me.
Definitely. And I still call "Verizon Wireless Amphitheater" Irvine Meadows.

And then there's the Blockbuster/Hyundai/San Manuel Pavilion, not to be confused with the San Manuel Casino.
Land Shark Stadium in Miami is now Sun Life Stadium, which I believe is the 1000th name change. I still call it Dolphin Stadium.
Apparently you guys have never seen sporting events in Philly. The old Vet had a jail and a judge in the basement for Eagles games.

Glen Halen? I f'ing hate that place. I don't know if I'd even see U2 there (not really but I would complain loudly).
I luckily missed the No Doubt/ Blink debacle because I didn't want to drive that far. I had friends who didn't even make it to the show.

I've been there a quite a few times as well, since it's relatively close to where I live. The first time was before it was an official venue of any sort when they put on US Festival '83 (one of my first U2 shows).

You guys know how many times the Boston Garden has been re-named?
What is it now?
"Something Bank Garden"?
No wonder Bostonians just call it the "Boston Garden". Even though the real Boston Garden is long long gone.
Never made it there -- that's the one U2 trip I canceled on the Vertigo Tour.
I really hope it wasn't the show where Bruce Springsteen came out and played "People Get Ready" in the encore.
Ok. I would have kicked myself if I missed Bruce.
