The official name is "Angel Stadium of Anaheim", but like Trojanchik, I've been calling it "The Big A" for ages.

I hate how the arena in Philly has changed its name because of mergers or change of sponsorships. First it's CoreStates Center, then First Union Center, and then Wachovia Center, all within the 14 years of its existence.

I had no problem calling that place the FU Center on the Elevation Tour.

Land Shark Stadium in Miami is now Sun Life Stadium, which I believe is the 1000th name change. I still call it Dolphin Stadium.

It was Brendan Byrne arena until 1996, and then Continental bought naming rights and it became Continental Airlines arena.

Unless you mean Brendan Byrne himself?

And, sadly, I'm old enough to remember him as Gov of NJ as well.

Open seating rock festival 1979. Extrememly hot day, ginormous crowd smashed like sardines at the gates all day. It got ugly. Something I did started a ruckus that spread thru the crowd like wildfire. Cops flew over in helicopter and warned crowd to stop it or they would cancel the show.
