for the same reason people who have been to their 9872354344546835th show need to be in the front row

Why is it that everyone who goes to their first show " need" to be in the front row? I'm just curious, so no one take that personal.

I would think cause they have never had another spot on the field so they don't know of another spot other then rail well at least for me. Why is front row not so great?

I can relate to wanting the best possible experience, especially if it's my first show.

Also, not all of us are going to 36 shows on this tour

I have not been in the pit so far this tour. It seems to me that the best place to be is on the rail outside of the pit. I've found that the screen adds a ton to the overall presentation of this show -- it gives it an even more epic feel. The outer rail affords a great view of the screen along with the opportunity to be only a few feet away from the band members at various times throughout the night.

My first show I was in the nosebleeds then, from there on out, I just got closer and closer to the stage and it became better and better...now I'm not sure I could settle for less but I may have to here. Two entrances for GA scares me. Not sure how that's going to work.

:hmm:

Disney security seen escorting gorilla out of Disneyland at 3:46pm.

I looked up weather history for the 6th and 7th weather is around 74-78 not to bad.

I am praying to the weather gods for some heavy duty June Gloom this year.

My first show was nosebleeds. My second I was on the front rail. I am now GA exclusive. My goal for Anaheim is to be on the outer rail for at least one show.

I think we need some spies to start contacting the stadium to see what their game plan is going to be. I pray they were at the Rose Bowl to see the fucking disaster that was.

For the 1st show it says Gates 1 or 4. I think they just didn't know which one it was going to be yet. The tickets were printed in November.

I had GA for my first U2 show. It was my one and only show that tour so I wanted to be as close as possible. And yeah, being in the building was good enough. But 1st-2nd row was even better. ;)

^ and Miami?????????????

I originally planned on going to the Miami show, but my boss wouldn't let me take a full week off.:grumpy:

So I'm using my last two off-days to go to the Edmonton show. This way I'll get to experience a U2 show in the daylight.

I was on the front rail inside the inner circle (right beside Adam) for my very first GA experience at the Rose Bowl. I didn't even foresee that happening. With the GA debacle, I thought I was gonna end up squished like a sardine somewhere in the middle.

Plus, Fergie got on the edge of the stage, made eye contact with me, pointed straight at me, and sang to me. I even watched Adam toss a water bottle (with his pick inside it) to the girl that was standing right next to me.

So for my first GA experience, it was a blast.:)

I don't know how similar it may be.... but seeing U2 at Fordham last year (in the daytime) was really awesome. All my photos from that show turned out great :)

What? how do you know that?

Tickets for night 1 say Gates 1 or 4. If I'm not mistaken, Rogers Centre was like this too...baseball fields don't have that big entrance like football fields do. I think it's going to kind be like an obstacle course to get to the field. Rogers Centre was a lot of up and around and up some more then down. That's what I was told. I hope I'm wrong about Angels Stadium.

I think that there is going to be steps involved. Most baseball stadiums I've been in the concourse is at street level and the field is lower.

The only good thing I can think of at the Angels Stadium right now is that there is a McDonalds right next door for morning GA waiting. Sausage McMuffin mmmm lol.
