Yes, I live in Cabo, and they are indeed partying in San Jose del Cabo. I have 3 photos of Bono and Edge that I would love to post here, but unfortunately I can't post attachments here I guess. If anyone has any ideas, let me know how I can post them!

PS. A drunken induced album leak would indeed be great!
 
I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but come on, you must've heard of Photobucket or imageshack or tinypic or the likes? Nobody uses the attachment function to upload pics anymore... then again I don't think many ever did, lol.

I see that someone got some photos of the Cabo pictures up in PLEBA but it's true, Loris; you need a web host of some kind to post photos here. If you're using your phone for photos there are mobile apps that make it really easy.

But the photos look super cool. Were you there, yourself?

U2 em digressão durante 2016 - BLITZ

Basically it says, they're trying to tour 2016 and people in Portugal (Nuno Braamcamp from R&B is the one responsable from bringing them to Portugal these past tours) are trying to have them play at Rock In Rio that year.

Well... Rock In Rio is usually held at then of May and beginning of June (like this year)... So that's two years... Even if they play North America first I'm not seeing an album this year nor early 2015.



Here's a full translation:
"U2 on tour during 2016
Nuno Braamcamp , R & B , confirmed to BLITZ he is making contacts to bring the band to Portugal.

The bleak news about the future of U2 may have known a turnaround this week , with the band to drive its agenda in order to conduct a tour in 2016 . This may mean that a new album is still far away, despite of their last album of originals have been published five years ago.
But this information also renew the hypothesis of a return to Portugal in two years. In this sense , Nuno Braamcamp , principal of the company promoter show R & B , confirmed to BLITZ he is trying to bring the creators of " Sunday Bloody Sunday " to our country , flatly ruling out the possibility of being in 2015. When questioned about the attempt to bring them to Portugal, Braamcamp said peremptorily : " Absolutely " .

2016 will be the year of Rock in Rio in Lisbon , with Nuno Braamcamp having the responsibility for hiring artists for this festival. In an interview published yesterday in the Economic Journal, Roberta Medina , president of Rock in Rio , admitted that one of its priorities are the presence of the Irish group in Lisbon."
 
That doesn't rule out a tour 2015. Why wait two years to tour? I'm sure they'll be doing a promo tour as well when the album comes out, so I doubt 2016 will be the year they will start the tour.

BUT this comes from dubious sources. So far, almost everything coming out from South American sources, no matter if it's media or fans, has been proven wrong. There were so many rumours that simply popped up and then disappeared, so I wouldn't take any of this seriously. It would still be interesting to know what B and E were doing in Mexico. Judging from the pictures I saw on Twitter, at least they were making music together (drunk acoustic "Desire").
 
Bono did say they will be taking these songs on the road for "2 years". I'd say both 2015 and 2016 will be spent covering the globe.
 
Having said that though, I think we're due for one final meltdown-inducing comment from the band shortly.. eg "Just having fun seeing where the music takes us", "might have it finished by the end of the year but don't know really" or that the Epworth sessions in London were for a side project.

As we paused this weekend to remember hitler, i spent the day at the hospital pretending to care for the injured while trying to score hordes of groovy painkillers. In the hospital cafeteria, i saw Jesus, and i sat down and broke bread with him, in hopes of getting thinner.

Much to my surprise he asked me if i would buy his dinner. I told him "you're the song of God, can't you just turn a napkin into some kind of cash?" He smiled at me and said he really didn't want to show off - plus he'd spent the day turning little blue pills into wood.

So i bought his meal and we shared some stories about the good old days. I asked him if he knew me well, if he knew i was an addict, a crazy person, a killer, and a thief. He comforted me and told me he wasn't here to judge, but just the same, he didn't exactly give me his blessing either.

I asked him about his father, was he really fair and loving? He commented that he was, but that also, his father was a republican so they differed on American politics.

I figured that Jesus was my kind of guy, so after the meal i invited him to go outside behind the kitchen and do some hits with me. He said "of course", and suggested we take a shortcut through the kitchen. All of the kitchen staff parted ways for us and greeted us on our quest to get high.

Once outside, behind a set of dumpsters and a broken down delivery truck which was resting near a loading dock, we got down to business. But soon enough, a rather large husky woman with an authoritarian voice interrupted our pleasure. "JESUS" she bellowed out "What the HELL are you doing?" "You'd better get your ass back to washing dishes while you STILL have a job...." she said with her muscly arms crossed in front of her chest.

I was in disbelief. "Pardon me ma'am", i whispered, "you know you shouldn't talk to the son of God this way"

"Huh?" she said with a laugh, "that's Jesus, the son of Jose, who cleans toilets over by the pharmacy."

I exchanged glances with Jesus and then a light bulb went off in my head. Pharmacy? Did she say pharmacy?

"Sorry Jesus, but i have to go" i said, shaking his hand, "Good luck with the dishes and the cross and everything"

"Hey where are you going man?" Jesus asked me, seemingly hurt.

I said to him "i need to go to the pharmacy to see your father Jose, or whatever, to try and get some of the good miracle shit.."

and off i went.

Most definitely. SOMETHING like this will be said by a band member this summer at some point. I think people who are hopeful for a fall 2014 release are setting themselves up to be let down... HARD. In my opinion, the best case scenario is that they'll force something out in March in order to get on tour by summer 2015. Cities played in 2009 (Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Boston, DC, etc) won't have had a show in 6 years by 2015. That's a long time, demand is going to be HUGE. I've said before, if something isn't officially announced by the end of August/beginning of September, we'll probably not have an album before Christmas. But I feel like we usually have some kind of vibe from the band in the months leading up to the announcement. Right now, there's no reason to be optimistic about anything. The most recent thing we've heard is Adam's non-commital guessing about being done by the end of summer.

I think things like Adam's wedding, Bono's surgery, 360 tour delaying for over a year, Paul retiring have all slowed their progress to some degree.
 
Also, Bono, Edge and Larry were playing in Mexico last night... no sign of Adam. WHAT IS HAPPENING???
 
Are they doing that "let's appear in a few places together and do something fun before shit gets real" campaign again? :wink:

I'm technologically challenged, you could say. I'm not a member of any of those sites, but I'll try and figure it out. My sister's friend here in Cabo sent her the pics from a bar in San Jose del Cabo the other night of Bono and Edge....and today another friend of mine sent me photos of him with Bono and Larry at Nowhere Bar in Cabo last night!! I was kind of ticked at first he didn't call me (I live in freaking Cabo after all), but he explained that they left right after he took the photos, and said he thinks he scared them off (I think he was joking, but who knows). I asked him if they were cool, and his exact words were, "Larry was. Bono was odd. No surprise really." This was all on wasap, so I have no more details than that.

I call bullshit. Real Larry would never be cool to a fan, I mean this is an Interference Accepted Fact. Clearly lying.
 
Oh my God larry smiled on a fans account and adam wasnt there holy shit u2 just died its all over and u2kitten just started rooting for the patriots and u2 just released all the pop leftovers on napster and thats it i quit life
 
All I ask of are straight up on the table answers. This is when the album comes out, this is the tour, and this is when retire.
