After 2 complete listens to the album this is the song I can't get out of my head.

love the harmonies in "e very day III!!!!"

love the shouting vocals "dylan-style"

I FOUND GRACE INSIDE OF SOUND, I FOUND GRACE IT´S ALL I FOUND!!!

10000 TIMES BETTER THAN THE BEACH CLIP

and it will be a killer song LIVE!

The song starts off well, but I really don't like some of the lyrics towards the end it kinda puts me off. Musically though in terms of sound the song sounds great.

After the 2nd listen thru the album, this song emerged as the 2nd best, with Magnificent coming in first. Not bad...nearly bookending the album with the best songs.

I think I can get behind this. I had a slight pang of disappointment on losing Bono's haunting outro vocals from the beach clip, but it's passed.

Edit: I should mention that I think every other change from the beach clip is for the better. Big time.

Loved the beach clip, love the song, but I have to admit I liked the "songs are in your eyes" section when it lead off the first chorus in the beach clip. I really wished they'd kept that the way it was. Now it's way back at 3:42 in the song.

But who knows, the fact that it's less prominent might make it more of a growing hook than an immediate one.

16th of June, nine 0 five, door bell rings
Man at the door says if I want to stay alive a bit longer
There’s a few things I need you to know. Three

Coming from a long line of travelling sales people on my mother’s side
I wasn’t gonna buy just anyone’s cockatoo
So why would I invite a complete stranger into my home
Would you?

These days are better than that
These days are better than that

Every day I die again, and again I’m reborn
Every day I have to find the courage
To walk out into the street
With arms out
Got a love you can’t defeat
Neither down or out
There’s nothing you have that I need
I can breathe
Breathe now

16th of June, Chinese stocks are going up
And I’m coming down with some new Asian virus
Ju Ju man, Ju Ju man
Doc says you’re fine, or dying
Please
Nine 0 nine, St John Divine, on the line, my pulse is fine
But I’m running down the road like loose electricity
While the band in my head plays a striptease

The roar that lies on the other side of silence
The forest fire that is fear so deny it

Walk out into the street
Sing your heart out
The people we meet
Will not be drowned out
There’s nothing you have that I need
I can breathe
Breathe now
Yeah, yeah

We are people borne of sound
The songs are in our eyes
Gonna wear them like a crown

Walk out, into the sunburst street
Sing your heart out, sing my heart out
I’ve found grace inside a sound
I found grace, it’s all that I found
And I can breathe
Breathe now

I disagree with those saying the beach clip version was better.

If you listen to it, you'll realize they replaced quite a few redundant lyrics early in the song that were being repeated throughout.

The buildup to the chorus is brilliant. The chorus is brilliant. The ending is amazing.

Great song. Possibly holding the coveted #2 spot for me, behind Magnificent.

walk out...into the street...sing your heart out..

wow, LIVE?? this song is going to be incredible.

This is a bad ass song. it's tough and pushes you around with it's heavy guitar sound and singing... but yet holds and caresses you with it's gentle piano all the while offering no apologies.:huh::wink:
