why wasn't this song attempted ?

I was thinking about it listening to Zooropa I wonder why they didn't attempt Some Days Are Better Than Others?

That's what I'm assuming. I'd imagine they figured it just didn't fit into the set, and despite the fact I'm one of these SDABTO-lovers, I really cannot see it exciting the crowd a whole lot.

It's a throwaway song. One of their few filler tracks. The only reason it made the album is because they didn't have any better material to put on it (remember that Zooropa was initially planned as an EP). I don't think it's a bad song, but I don't think very much of it either, and I don't think the band does either.

Yeah, I think it's kind of a fun song lyrically, but I'd be pretty disappointed if they used concert time for that song.

It's not a concert song but its fun nontheless, I feel it's a chillout song.

I reckon that if they'd done a totally acoustic show, it would've been attempted in some form or another ...

The bass line to that song is kick ass.
