There were two older women sitting near me in Philly on Sunday. They both had on sweaters and turtlenecks, and they just sat in their seats and didn't move at all for the whole show. I wonder if that was what they were expecting...?

I was in a strange section that evening. The guy in front of me looked alarmingly like Hunter S. Thompson, and the drunk woman sitting next to me had a mullet--and not even a Bono mullet.

They did come on early. Wake Up started playing around 8:45. That's when I had my first hunch that something special was going to happen!
