That's good. They will be able to satisfy a lot more folks then.
Interesting that they say the final 5 shows and no mention of the ones that haven't been announced but had the packages for. I wonder if they will ever be announced, you would think that opening those up would help make more tickets available too.

They called the shows running 10/27-11/5 the final five shows but would find it hard to believe they don’t add that last set of three to close it out on 11/12 *unless* the F1 construction/setup is going to interfere.

It’s cool now some of us can request 12 shows instead of just 5 which should help chances.
I’m still not sure if GA is 3000 seats as I heard one short say it ADDs 20000 seats. But that seems impossible. Then again maybe the floor is freaking huge.

GA instead of seats on the floor may be bumping up the total capacity of the room to 20k.
the final road paving for the F1 race is supposed to wrap the week prior to the first show in September if i remember correctly...
i think they want to get this clear first before they do anything else. fix the first fuck up before moving on to round 2

no... it's impossible.
everything that's been said is that the venue seats 17,500 - but can be expanded up to 20k with certaain GA setups.
so for the U2 shows it's somewhere between 17500 and 20000. edge had said 18k in the apple interview. but i think he said 20k in another interview. so hey - who the hell knows.
likely scenario is that there are around 18k of actual tickets available - and then another 1k to 2k in hospitality areas like suites and whatnot - which wouldn't be included in the general onsale and are likely already swooped up by the big casino companies.

I received the one email and used the link to request a ticket for five different shows. I didn't try doing more than one ticket to either of them. One show appears to be the max, but would probably be happy with any of the choices.
