I think Bono really loves this song and with his recent brush with mortality it makes sense to sing it. . He is feeling grateful to be around and it's his song of thanks/worship whatever.. imo I just went back and read the lyrics again.. they make total sense in this regard

I'm sure that won't stay that way all tour. Maybe Streets will switch around with One or Pride. They had mentioned possibly not playing any TJT songs after it got its own tour in 2017.
