I'm being distracted by IMs and email...

I'm mostly going to visit friends and family over there... My mother is coming with me for part of the trip, she has family in the south of England (around Brighton), plus one of my friends from Uni is living over there now near Wales... I have other, internet friends in Cornwall and Scotland too.
I'm also going to a science fiction convention in Atlanta in the US after that, where I'll hopefully get to see a lot of my American internet friends without having to go to ten different places... :D Then I'm going to Chicago, which is where another Australian friend is living... we've been friends since we were 6 or so and she's the one that got me into U2 :)

Then I'm going to Hawaii for a few days, just because I'm a geology geek and I want to see a volcano. :nerd:

I'm really looking forward to it... I've been wanting to do this for years, and now I'm in a position to do it... I paid for the plane ticket in November and applied for leave from work so it's definitely happening! :hyper:
Now I just need to save up some spending money.... (kinda wish we had a better exchange rate between $AUD and the UK!)
