I just picked up Paul Simon's Rhythm of the Saints on ebay for next to nothing.

I didn't realize there was a soundtrack to Shine a Light. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I hope it plays somewhere around here.

The Ultimate Rock & Roll Collection: The 50s

Other than a few songs I knew here and there by Elvis, Chuck Berry and a couple others, this is pretty much my introduction to 50s music. Sounds awesome so far! :hyper:

It has Buddy Holly!

Apparently, today was Record Store Day, but I didn't notice anything special in the stores I visited. There was a very small record fair on some square though, so I browsed the collection of some stands. Found 2 for cheap:

Susanna Hoffs - When You Are A Boy
La Oreja De Van Gogh - El Viaje Del Copperpot

It was a gorgeous day so I couldn't resist going to the friendly neighborhood record store in Princeton...

Bruce Springsteen - The Rising  my first proper Bruce album ...loving it already!
Sting - The Dream Of The Blue Turtles

And a couple I already have, but just for the liner notes... :shifty:

REM - Out Of Time
Pearl Jam - Vs.
