At the end of UV, Bono would let the microphone spin and try to sing into it while its spinning. Acoustic guitar in hand, he would start strumming the chords to Gone and sing the first two verses:

Edge would be working the infinite sustain on the guitar throughout. No drums or bass, just the Edge and Bono. The Microphone would fade to Blue at the end and WOWY would start. Bono would also have to stay in one place with the acoustic guitar for the beginning of WoWY. During the bridge, he'll hang the laser jacket up, let it fly away, and then hopefully have enough energy for a "Shine Like Stars" at the end of WOWY.

-Now that the same set list structure has stayed for 3 legs, I think its impossible to call your own 360 set list realistic without keeping the structure. I personally would change it a bit, but I like to be realistic and not pie in the sky, anything is possible, blah, blah, blah. To the extent I was kidding myself with the setlist predictions, I have stopped(for now:lol::lol:)

-Wild Horses is a good bridge from batman swinging on the mic to WOWY. The 2 songs are awkward back to back. Plus, its a brilliant track that belongs in the "personal, stripped to raw emotion" encore.

-If U2 works out some kind of intro for NLOTH that works with Stingray, Boots could just as easily go down to the 8th slot in the set list between Out of Control and Glastonbury.

Whilst it sounds like an awkward pause. It does kind of work at the show. I'm pretty sure the point of the 'Stingray' intro is so the band can parade and say 'We're back', then during the pause acknowledge the fans patience over the last year by giving the crowd a round of applause. Personally I think it's a nice idea. The alternative, which would also work,is to boot straight into an up tempo song but then there is no gap for all the backslappinglove

Two possible setlist ideas? The 'alternating' songs being from the "B" setlist. One night the main, next night the main but replacing main song with the alternate.

3 - Until the End of the World (rotate nightly with Zoo Station)
4 - Beautiful Day/Here Comes The Sun (snippet)
5 - Mysterious Ways (rotate nightly with Even Better Than The Real Thing)

A few comments:

I kept the encores essentially the same. HMTMKMKM or UV could occasionally be rotated with Acrobat or Love Is Blindness, cause I think they could both work well with the show. I think UV should stay always cause I believe it to be one of the best pieces of work U2 has ever produced.
-I omitted lots of ATYCLB songs, because I feel like none of them really worked that well with the Claw, except Beautiful Day, but that's a given.
-I added several POP songs, only because the CLAW IS BEGGING FOR THEM.
-Lots of Achtung Baby love :lol:
-I put AIWIY before Streets because I think that is a beautiful transition between the two songs.
-Lots of rockers before the unplugged set of songs, mainly because I think the 360 tour audience should be bombarded with rock, then given a little break with a few acoustic/slower songs, then thrown back into the rock set and close the show with a bang.
-Just FYI, I think the current ending of the setlist (One > Streets > HMTMKMKM/UV > WOWY > MOS) is the greatest encore(s) U2 has ever come up with.


Anyways, enough of my thoughts, let me know what you think of my setlist!
 
I like that set a lot but I really doubt they'll play 26 songs....ever.
 
Actually replace Sunday Bloody Sunday in your set with Like A Song and it'll be even better!

I like NLOTH much better than Bomb, but just based on how they selected back catalog songs for the set list here, Vertigo blows 360 away!

It's pretty much the same thing as always, but the transitions weren't pulled out of a hat. They could play this every night for all I care, with minor rotations once in a while.
