Using Milano#1 as a base.
Part I: New material
1.Breathe
2.No Line On The Horizon
3.Get On Your Boots
4.Magnificent
5.ELEVATION (no Beautiful Day)
At least from the shows I remember, Elevation get the crowd more involved...and I find BD somewhat silly.
Part II: to the accoustic set
6.I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
7.Angel of Harlem
8.Party Girl
9.STAY / STARING AT THE SUN (no In A Little While)
Desire is another song to throw in here sometimes. And having 2 good accoustic and familiar candidates from the 90's they sure could use them.
Part III: Karaokes, journey, opening the 360 screen.
10.STAND UP COMEDY (no Unknown Caller)
Stand up comedy has a similar rithym to Bullet the Blue Sky, although a totally differnt attitude. This spot, right after the accoustic set was the usual place to lift up in which Bullet used to be.
11.Unforgettable Fire
I love this one here, but to put Being Born someday on the setlist (on crazy tonights, spot, perhaps), this has to go as it is very similar. Some "Gone", here?
12.City of Blinding LIghts
13.Vertigo
14.I'll Go Crazy (Remix)
I thing Cary Tonight , in this version will not travel the Atlantic to USA, although it will stay on the setlist during the promotion of the new single. If they want to keep the electronic wibe, some Mofo could fit here, but the other distinction of the song is Larry's "percussion journey", for that , I can't think of a replacement right now.
Part IV: Classics.
15.Sunday Bloody Sunday
16.Pride (In The Name of Love)
I'm finding in the recordings of this songs less crazyness than in other tours. Perhaps because there's no band exit after that. I would put this song to rest for a while, and make room for the return of New Year's day, perhaps, which get as good a response from the audience.
17.MLK
For me, could be exchanged with any slow song they'd like. Even from the new album.
18.Walk On
19.Where The Streets Have No Name
20.One
I'm getting tired of this one, but it's difficult to replace. Eventhough, it needs something to make it a special moment, light the cellphone thing in Vertigo.
--------
21.Ultraviolet
22.With Or Without You
It gets a excellent response from the audience, at least, I'm sure in Europe and in South America. It's an excellent end.
23.Moment of Surrender
Here, it could be nice to make 40 the ending sometime, with the band exiting the stage one by one, reverting the entrance of Breathe. I would bring some simmetry.
I forgot one thing. Instead of keeping the Desmond Tutu message. They could come up with local celebrities involved in filantropy sending a message for a charity of their choice. It should be easy for the local production to contact some celebrity check the goodwill of the charity, film a 30 second video and then apply the filters to be shown on the screen. It would appeal much more than a insisting with the same message.
And they should have a video feed streaming the show, with only a fixed camera but a nice audio feed, for us setlist followers!!!
