Listening to If God Will Send His Angels earlier and couldnt help but be struck by the notion that it'd fit really well in the spot where MLK and Mothers of the Disappeared were played. The way it ends with the guitar fading out, leaving only the drum beat with the added possibility of Bono getting the crowd to chant the 'Where do we go?' line themselves before launching into Walk On. It sounds good to me anyway.

-If can take the rotation a bit further, I think this is pretty realistic! Though I have some other songs I'd love to see, I only put in the ones that have worked in the past and could work again.

-Also, unless we are doing dream set lists, we can't take all or a majority of the hits out of the rotation all together. Especially not with stadiums.

-This would be my ideal group of songs to work with until they put out a new album.

realistic number of songs in my setlist i think.
maybe an unrealistic choice with Discotheque and Mofo, but sue me. i could have gone nuts and put in Lemon and Last Night On Earth (fat chance they'll play them again )
but anyway we all know discotheque rules and would be a great closer to a main set if done properly, and Mofo basically kicks more ass than most U2 songs. Having it at the start of the encore (along with BOTH Hmtmkmkm and Ultraviolet, none of that rotation bollocks) would be fantastic, if not at the beginning of the whole damn show, with Streets somewhere else...

also i'd sooner hear 40 than Moment Of Surrender at the end...don't get me wrong it's a great song and all but jesus, a 7-8 minute song like THAT ending every single show is just a downer. besides, think of it like this, you'd get TWO extra songs out of it if you dropped it....which is crucial for glastonbury
