It's winter in Canbrrrra!

Naked trees and falling leaves
I think I am about to sneeze ?
The cold annoys my aching knees!
Atchoo! It?s winter time!

The morning greets my numb?d nose
Nocturnal shifts exposed my toes ?
Alas! Upon them frost now grows!
Oh woe, it?s winter time!

My shivering has moved the bed
It started there, it?s here instead!
In the night, some blankets have I shed ?
A wonder I awoke not-dead!

The shower?s a temptation sore,
Cascades of heat I much adore!
Don?t want the coldness any more
Are you sure I must walk out the door?

Coat and scarf and gloves and hat
Thermal undies, skin of cat?
(I was just kidding about that ?
But how I envy fur and fat!).

Heater functioning at last
Save us from winter?s frigid blast!
If it goes, dunno how long we?ll last ?
How long to hibernate and fast?

Winter?s here, it sucks a lot,
And just before I end this rot ?
To you Yanks in Winter-not,
May your tan-oil turn to grot!
